This hotel was fabulous! We stayed in a brand new room with new decor, beautifully decorated, exceptionally clean. Friendliest staff I've ever encountered. The girl who checked us in when we arrived was so friendly and animated, she gave us directions to a wonderful steakhouse at the Airport, joked with our kids and gave them both cookies (they make cookies right there at the Front Desk - homebaked and tasty). The breakfast staff in the morning was cheerful and quick to assist us with making waffles. The breakfast itself was wonderful - hot scrambled eggs, thick sausage gravy, and huge waffles with your choice of toppings (we had walnuts and cherries, the kids had chocolate chips). We were happy to have an outside pool with cool blue water, plenty of tables & lounge chairs, and beautiful flowers. And as a bonus, we found out that the hotel and just built a brand new business center! I was able to check my email and catch up on a bit of work (yeah - I know, I know. I'm not supposed to do that on vacation, but who could resist?). All in all, it was a wonderful stay and I would recommend this hotel to any family traveling for vacation!

the bed and pillows were lumpy. desk chair was stained and needed to be repaired. towels were rough. shower needs a liner. a/c didn't work well. the key to door wouldn't work to get back in. i had to go the front desk. the front desk wasn't nice. i wouldn't stay here again.

We can't wait to come back. I feel like the staff are old freinds. We came to town for a funeral which is usually a sad time. The gals at the front desk treated us as honored guests not just customers. The hot breakfast was a real delight. Wonderful food and lots if it.
