Phone reservations made weeks in advance. Promises not kept. Accounting poor--be very careful about accepting anything said by desk staff. Credit card misused. Good breakfast service. Old "V" shaped motel domed to make interior courtyard. Rooms vary but substandard for price charged ($120 by the time all fees paid.) "Price with taxes" do not include fees! Ask what you will be charged when "going out the door." Desk staff poorly trained. Linen not changed daily, even if soiled. Lackluster remodeling.

The pools are great - both an indoor and outdoor pool. Provide a Wii check-out which is awesome since we stay there when visiting our college kids. The rooms are reasonably clean. They do need to get rid of the heavy old gold bedspreads! Bathrooms need some updating. The breakfast situation is bad. Contential Breakfast only available M-F and it's not really breakfast. Just some bread and a toaster and a bowl of apples! If you want the cold or hot buffet you pay (way to much). When I pay over $100 per night for a room you can throw in a half way decent breakfast.

the chair was broken. wallpaper covered a hole in the wall. ceiling in the bathroom was bad. the staff was rude. i wouldn't stay here again.

When choosing to book a golf trip, don't make the mistake of going through this hotel. You'd be better off contacting the golf courses directly and making reservations at a different spot. Here are some of the things that happened during the planning: 1 - 1 week before arriving, we were told which couples would be staying in the same room. Each couple was supposed to get their OWN room, and that had been planned since APRIL! 2 - they were going to charge us $65 for playing the Kampen course when the fall rates (in effect) were $38. We had to find this out and correct it. 3 - they told us that each individual would have to take his own golf cart and pay for two carts per couple. We had to take care of that too by contacting the golf course directly. 4 - we had one cancellation about 3 weeks before the outing. I notified them personally. After the trip, that couple was billed $100 for not cancelling the room on time. The general manager would not even return my calls about this. The assistant general manager kept saying "that's our policy - if you don't have the cancellation number, we can't help." I wasn't even given one! Obviously the hotel didn't cancel the room, so why would they give me one? They implied that I was lying about cancelling. We had 12 couples stay 3 nights and eat dinner once at their restaurant. And they refuse to give the cancelled couple their money back after all these problems. We have been on many golf trips with this group, and never had problems like these on any of them. Don't be tempted.

We arrived at 1:15 pm and they were not able to check us in early. They did not even look at their computer to see if anything was open. Also, we did not have hot water for the first half a day.

The hotel has a very large indoor area, around 200' by 80', which has a very nice, warm pool plus a pool table, ping pong table and a few video games. Our family always spends a night there every year during the cold Indiana winters just to relax and let us and the three kids make the most of the pool. However, be warned that it is not a very quiet atmosphere when the place is full, being all connected and open indoors. Price is around $100 per night, but twice that during Purdue football weekends.
