old, rundown and smelly but good location
By ,
the lobby looked pretty nice but the smell near the elevators to the tower rooms was horrible they must have been trying to cover up something with a sickening perfume smell. The website mentions they have a fitness facility, sauna, indoor pool, and hot tub. Well they do not have a sauna any longer the hot tub was out of order and the fitness center is not in the hotel it's at Ballys for a 5.00 fee per person, all very misleading. The beds and pillows were very comfortable but the rooms had outdated furnature and t.v.s, no wifi and the art work was taken off the walls so you just saw the nail holes.

Worst Stay Ever
By ,
Ended up staying at this hotel for 4 nights. It ended up being one of the worst stays at a Starwood Hotel in my experience. The room had a smell of chlorine during the whole stay, with or without the AC on. House keeping was definitely not up to par. If 2 towels were used, they took the used ones and did not put new towels to replaced the used one. They actually did not even both to come clean the room on Sat. Had to call front desk later on that day to request the service. I was also disappointed that there was no internet/wifi service unless you're in the main lobby. For the amount of money paid($190/night), I was also hoping to have a mini fridge in the room - no luck there. My friends that stayed at the Holiday Inn 8 miles down the road had the same size room, a mini fridge, microwave, free wifi and breakfast and for only $90/night. Needless to say, I definitely won't be staying or recommending people to this hotel.

way overpriced
By ,
the website says rates from $99,00. We were charged over $200.00. You have to pay x-tra to hook up to the internet. You have to pay over $10.00 to eat breakfast. They leave you bottled water in your romm but if you drink it there is a $3.50 charge added to your room. Not happy at all

Not satisfied for the price paid
By ,
This hotel is not as luxury as the restaurant and shopping mall that are in the its vicinity. The hotel room pictures which are shown on their website are not what the rooms and suites look like, the room pictures you see online are pictures of the presidential suite which is only booked through the sales department. I had to change rooms five times and each room looked the same with outdated furniture, water stains on the ceiling, damaged doors and one room had a damaged security box in it. Housekeeping only makes the beds and change towels, the table in the room had food on it was not wiped down, nor were the dishes washed. If you are looking for quality in a room, I would not choose this hotel. They really need to replace the furnish in the rooms to look like the furniture in the lobby. Service was also slow but the staff was friendly and helpful.

Disappointment!!!
By ,
This hotel was a huge disappointment. I expected a luxury room for the price, but instead found the room resembled a dorm room...old outdated furniture, and the walls and carpet were worn and dirty looking. The location is great...close to restaurants and shopping, but would not consider staying there again without a major renovation to the hotel.

No bang, plenty of buck.
By ,
I noticed this wasn't quite the luxury hotel I expected when I first started down the hall to my room. The paint on the walls was almost non-existent. It was just the drywall in most spots. There was also quite a bit of writing on the walls. I don't care if Tommy loves Jennifer. The room wasn't even as nice as some hotels I've stayed in for under $50 a night. The TV started to make a high pitched squeal after 10 minutes. The shower wouldn't turn on. We had to pry the shower converter open. It would only come half-way up. The closet doors would not open unless you forced them. When I went down to the front desk, she refused to move us to a different room. She asked what the problem was, so I listed off everything. She said she would send a maintenance guy to fix the issues. I asked if he was a television repairman, as well. She said the issues should be fixed by the time we get back. I pointed out that for $130 a night, during the middle of the week, there shouldn't be any issues. She thanked me and answered the phone. Needless to say, there was no difference in the room when we got back. If this trip was not reimbursed by the company, I would not have paid a cent. This is the worst experience I have ever had at any hotel. There are plenty to choose from in Indianapolis. Stay away from the Sheraton.

Disappointing
By ,
Excellent staff, good place to park. Lousy food and two prices for breakfast in their makeshift Restaurant. $18.00 for coffee and a bun if you sit down. They give you a styrofoam box to eat elsewhere if you don't sit,get a life!! Big enough rooms but the carpet looks like it's been in Baghdad. The shower sprays everywhere and the tub hardily drains. Had water main break on sat,no water to shower or shave on sunday. They at least didn't charge us for the room that nite.
