Our stay here was very pleasant and my kids had a lot of fun at the pool. Service was great and prices were cheap!

I love this place! its very cheap! I had to comment because i am handicapped myself and i received the best service and did not have to stress at all. the review i read of the person under me shocked me and disturbed me. Ive been a frequent guest at stones for many years now. My wife and i love the place and when i went there last week everything was renovated and better than ever. I was surprised at how much of an upgrade the motel got. all in all love the place ignore the disgrace.

We were denied a room because i was handicapped. The owner took our money , saw i was in a wheelchair and told us we had to leave.When we asked for a refund he refused

We stayed at the stones motel (Budget Host) in dale indiana while we went to holiday world in october.This was the same ,nasty,smelly place we had stayed in the year before ,except it was more run down than the previous year.Mr Kiran has a worse attitude than the previous year.His prices are outrageous.Our room had the smell of dead animalin the sheets and bed clothing.The bar next door had people roaming the parkinglot at all hours of the night,yelling and screaming .There was one indident of a man and woman having sex near one of the rooms under the light.DISGUSTING!! NOT A PLACE FOR THE CHILDREN! Next year its motel 6 or the new super8 motel . Take this as good advise DO NOT STAY HERE NOT WORTH WHAT YOU PAY FOR A ROOM!!

the place is great for the money dont expect a 5 star its friendly and the mexican restarunt is great very friendly maybe a little out of date but good

We stayed at Budget Host in July 2009 on our trip to Holiday World.The owner ,Kiran,is a strange little fellow(weird).He acted as though he is gay!My husband noticed him ,watching at us, the whole time we stayed at the motel.He appeared to be interested in my panties and lingerie while we were at our car.The room smelled like disinfectant,(bigtime),as though they were trying to hide something.Hair in the tub and sink Mold on the walls and carpet.Motel 6 is just as close as this motel.Next time pay a little more get cleaner and quieter.

Likes - The room was clean. I didn't take a blacklight to the everything, but everything looked neat and orderly. - Dish Network Satelitte - Two entrances - Front, and the back (to get to the pool) - Nice new air conditioner - Less than 5 miles to Holiday World Dislikes - The room smelled heavily of disinfectant. Now I don't know if this is good, but I have a suspicion that it was to mask some issue. The taste was in my mouth for the first few hours in the room - The curtains were not normal "blackout" hotel curtains. At about 5:30am or so, the light started streaming in from both the front and back of the room. - Toilet seat was tilted a bit. I was afraid it was going to throw out my back - The parking lot is also used for the bar - Everything in the room, except the air conditioner and TV needed to be updated from the 60's - Everything on the outside of the hotel need serious updating. - Shampoo packets that you need scissors to open I was sort of glad we only needed to stay in the room from 2am - 8:30am, because I don't know how I would have felt getting there earlier when the bar was open. We MAY stay there again, because the price was reasonable.

The Budget Host Motel (Stones Motel) is not what is advertised on the internet. We stayed there in June 2009and found it to be extremely dirty and filthy.The pool was nasty(not heated as advertised!) Rooms were dirty,moldy,mildew with hair on the bedding ,sink,tub and furniture.Everything dates back to the 60's and 70's.This is the 21st century buddy!During the night there were people who appeared drunk and drugged ,roaming the parkinglot, looking into vehichles.It was'nt very peaceful and soothing to be here.Unidentifiable stains on the mattress.The shower was too hot at times and freezing at other times. We are going to Motel 6 next time ,pay a little more and get a decent shower.This guy needs MAJOR IMPROVEMENT! The only good thing was ,it was close to Holiday World.

We stayed there in June 2009 .It was a horrrible experience.The shower was too hot ,causing my husband to get 2nd and 3rd degree burns on a large part of his body.I had to take him to the emergency room,ruining our vacation.We noticed that there were several stains on the pillows and sheets.A smell of mold and mildew was in our room.Next time its Motel 6 up the road! This guy needs to be shut down !!

We stayed at the Budget Host Motel (Stones Motel) in May 2009 when we went to Holiday World.The room had unknown stains on the carpet,mildew smell,and dead roaches in the tub.The motel still has the same owner,Kiran,with the same bad attitude as in the previous year.Our room had stains on the mattress,with an odor of urine.We had water running from the wall when it rained(indoor waterfall).During the night there were two drunks in the parking lot near our room, having sex!! This was all that we could stand.We have children and this was totally unacceptable.The next time we are going to Motel 6 .Its cleaner,quieter,and manager is friendlier.
