Days Inn Tell City, Tell City

The bed sheets had dried up food in them,chicken bones behind the bed,nail clippers in the sheets...NASTY.

we checked into this motel on Sat.Sept.22,2007. As soon as we walked into the rooms (there were 4 of us, 2 rooms),the oder was horrible. The room was very dirty and the bathroom fixtures were not fit for anyone to use. The flys and spiders were plentiful in both rooms. We immediately went back to the front dessk (the lobby also looked dirty and bad). and told them we could not stay there. The place needs to be torn down and a new one built. Very Very bad. We have stayed at Days Inn before (last time in Aug. in lkins W. Va.) and it was fine. Do not make reservations at this Days Inn. Crabtree

The Catina has Great Mexican food. The bar has a nice sound system with Qaulity bands on Sat. They have a nice crowd that is keep in check with security.

This is the worst hotel I had ever stayed in. The parking lot needs to be fix. The pot holes are enough to tear up your car. The rooms were dirty. Hair in the tub, dried boogers on the bathroom walls, paint chipping everywhere, the carpet looked as though it was never cleaned. I had my children wear shoes in the room as I was afraid for them to walk on the carpet. We had roaches in our rooms. The only positive thing was that the pool was descent. I will never stay there again and would not recommend this hotel to anyone!!

Dirty, run down, nasty hotel. Paint peeling from the bathroom walls, flies all over room, room not clean (even though we had reservations). Room smelled bad (was a non-smoking room). Could hear the TV near by, the partying by others, and everyting else. Free breakfast - limited & unappealing. Overall bad experience. Would not return. Sure, the hotel is cheap, but I'd rather spend extra money & stay somewhere nicer. My garage would be more appealing. On the bright side, once I finally fell asleep, I did sleep well. But, probably because I was worn out from being at Holiday World all day. Anyway, if you don't mind nasty, then this is the place for you. If you prefer something at least descent, then keep looking!
