Convenient to everything

What I liked about the Fairmont was the Aria Restaurant. It was wonderful, the service was 5 star. The concierge Rikki was the best. She was very friendly and knew what she was talking about and very very helpful. Take a ride in the house car, the Bently. Wonderful car and the driver was very nice. The location was convenient to Millenium Park, the museums, walking distance from Michigan Avenue (The Magnificient Mile) and the Navy Pier.
The one thing I did not like about the hotel, was I had to call each day and ask for our room to be cleaned. We were out of our room by 9am every day and would return about 4pm and the room still hadn't been cleaned. The coffee pot was an expensive one, but no where to plug it in unless you wanted to move the whole thing somewhere inconvenient. Wanted to take a bath and it was dirty.
Overall, I would recommend this place as long as you are aware to be on the look out to ask for your room to be cleaned and clean the bathtub before you want to take a bath.
There was no pool, spa or gym unless you wanted to use the health club that was attached to the hotel for 20.00 per day. They said they were in the process of building a spa though.
