Never Again !
By Denise, 10/31/09
I chose this hotel for an overnight stay while in the area for medical appointmets. The hotel has not updated their front desk computer equipment from the old credit card imprinter style to the newer identity protected scanner style reader. Instead they chose to spend money on credit card readers for their business center computers so they can charge their customers $5.oo a pop to use their computers. This is an insult to the customer. I've never encountered this in any Choice hotel to date. When I checked out, I requested they return the imprinted credit card document to me, as the room was in perfect condition and there were no incidental charges pending..nothing was to be charged to my credit card. They did not need the imprint of the card, since the room was paid for with my points. After a lengthly heated discussion with the manager and a call to Choice Customer Service, the manager refused to return my personal credit card information to me stating they will keep this information in their files for one year. There is no reason for them to have access to a copy of my credit card. I feel this puts the customer's identity at risk and the Choice Hotel group should require all of their hotels to have updated identity protection installed in their hotels. There was also a disctinct smell of mold when the water was turned on in the room. I will never stay in this hotel again. And in the future if a hotel uses a credit card imprinter, I will not stay there. This is identity theft in the making.

Great value
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/17/09
I was a little weary of staying here based on some of the old reviews, but I gotta say I was pleasantly surprised. I found out that the hotel had been renovated recently. The staff that I dealt with were very helpful and the hotel/train van was incredibly convenient. The drivers were both courteous and kind. Breakfast was better than the typical continental spread, it even included hot food items and waffles. It was well worth the price.

Best Value in Chicago
By Bachi and Pops, 06/27/08
Arrived by Amtrak, downtown places way too pricey. We had to take the subway, about 30 minutes. Shuttle picked us up in 10 minutes or less, never a delay. We opted for the King with 2 person jaccuzzi. We paid for 2 nights here less than the downtown places were per night. The room was immaculate. For being close to the airport we didn't hear a single aircraft. Also had wi-fi, so we were able to check e-mails. A few minutes after we were in the room, we were called and asked if the room was satisfactory. Restaurant on premisis, we did room service the first night, food was delivered hot and quickly. Breakfast was great, many choices including eggs and sausage. Can't find any negative about our stay.

Great Hotel for the price
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/06/07
I think, this is one of the best hotel in near Chicago's O'Hare Airport. Free breakfast that included eggs, waffles, and fresh fruits. Rooms are recently renovated and they offer us free shuttle to the All state arena. Beds were amazing and staff was very nice.

By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/11/07
Do not stay at this hotel, we got stuck here because of a delayed flight and could not find another room. They jacked up the price and did not give us the room we were promised the people are rude and the room smelled BAD!!!!! Please, take my advice and sleep at the airport. N.Carolina

READ THIS FIRST!!!!
By Griffin, 05/27/04
I travel a lot for work (about 5 months a year). I stayed here for personal vacation. This is THE WORST HOTEL IN THE USA. it Smelled like a damp bar, even though it was non smoking. I called and asked for towels, they told me 15 min. I called back down in an hour, and she answered the phone " I Know, I know their coming"... Now 3 hours later I still don't have towels. I called down to the front desk.. NO ONE ANSWERS.. I go down to the front desk, the front desk clerk pretty much told me I was SOL b/c they were busy. They charged me for 2 movies and I only watched 1. The staff was RUDE, and looks like they stumbled in from the local trailer park. It is in the middle of NOWHERE. DO NOT STAY HERE. If you stay here it is your own fault.. you've been warned
