Days Inn, Lansing

I liked the price ($34.00/night + tax), the nice room, the free hot breakfast (eggs, sausage, & pancakes), the location near I-94, and the overall cleanliness of it. I disliked nothing about the motel, actually. No, it's not fancy, but it's competitive at the price range.

I asked for a non smoking room, but the room smelled like old smoke. The room did not smell clean. There were candy paper on the floor. The washroom looked old. I guess you get what you pay for. If you want a clean relax stay, you are going to have to spend the money.

When I was in the room it wasn't so bad, but I didn't feel safe outside, and the service was ridiculously bad. The shower was moldy, but I had clean towels and a nice bed. My worst experience was that at 3:30 in the morning (2 hours before I had to be up to catch a flight) I was called by the front desk because I "didn't pay for the 2nd night." The gentleman who checked me in only charged me for one night--I figured I would be charged at checkout? When I was awoken--he didn't apologize, and then he asked me to come down to the desk to pay right then! At 3:30 am! Overall the management and staff were unprofessional and unhelpful. Be prepared to get breakfast elsewhere. My stay gave me an unpleasant experience in Lansing.

i stayed at this motel. They have no coke but have pepsi, it is good enough. Breakfast not usual do nuts, but it is full hot breakfast, sausage-pancake-juice-egg and toast. Coffee also. come on guys, where can you find this. rooms are clean. This is DaysInn and not Sheraton. Its worth every dollaryou spend. I recommend this motel.
