Great place. Very accommodating staff. Beautiful, spacious suite.

Staff is very friendly, rooms are older but very clean. Bar has very good food. Overall stay was very good. They are currently remodeling. Will definitely go back if need be in the future.

If you don't like sleeping in an ashtray, i would suggest you stay away from this hotel. But for $58, what do you expect the Taj Mahal?

you do get what you pay for, but if you let them know you are visiting an inmate you get a discount, they understand how hard it is to bring your kids for out of state and get time off work just so your kids won't forget your loved one. So they do their part to help by giving reduced rates. their bar has great food but it is a little noisy on weekends.

spacious rooms and just a very nice motel all around. We were very pleased. Rooms were clean and well designed. Central location to where we wanted to be.

We were in town for a girls softball tournament at the Dragons Dome..I found that the staff was very nice and helpful.We ate in the hotel restaurant and although the waitress was very slow,the food was good...Pool was closed due to cold weather.The band on Friday and Saturday night was VERY LOUD so bring earplugs.

Our group had several problems with this hotel. The staff had alot of trouble keeping our booking straight. Two of our rooms had leaking faucets which caused the carpet to be wet. There is a live band every Friday and Saturday night till 1 a.m. in the bar. The people in our group that had inside rooms couldn't go to sleep until after the music had stopped.

This is a nice, solid motel with some character. I don't quite understand the emotional hostility of the other reviewer. Yes, it's older, so if that's something that puts you off, go elsewhere. The rooms are relatively large, the walls are solid blocks so there is good sound insulation. I personally prefer being able to open the door to the outside and the outdoor pool. (Other motels in Pekin have indoor pools where the feeling tends to be claustrophobic, and with more than 2-3 kids in the pool, it can be overwhelming and unpleasant.) The folks at the Concorde are as friendly and helpful as we've found at the other Pekin motels. It's a personal preference, but the more sterile feel of the other, newer motels down the road seems soulless and just not as appealling. For these reasons, I prefer the Concorde.
