Sealodge B-12, www.hale_lani.com
By luv2travel926, 12/16/08
The Sealodge, B-12, by http://www.hale-lani.com, is not a breathtaking experience! It is a simple vacation condo among other vacation condos in Princeville. Please be very cautious, as the pictures on the website are not true. When arriving the condo had musty/moldy smell, although it was semi-clean there was house cleaning done prior to settling in. There is not ocean view nor is there a beach close, the grounds are clean and there is a simple pool and bbq area. This would be fine for an individual or couple who do not seek lavish amenities. It is fairly priced (if you like to pay for insects.) As for the management of the property, that is less than desirable. We had many visitors including lizards/geckos, bugs and the best- A CENTIPEDE IN OUR BED! We had to draw the line here and went and checked into another hotel. Management refused to refund our money for the nights we could not stay there and accused us leaving condo with broken TV, which was not true. Be assured this is a not a breathtaking experience, but rather an insect ridden condo! The management even wanted to spray the condo while we were staying there, no disclosure of this or the insects! Maybe the management thinks this is the breathtaking experience- inhaling pesticides! Save you money and stay at the Westin!

Area beautiful but it was hot!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/20/05
I love the Princeville area but we found we went other places to eat and do things. View is alright but limited in some condos and lanais are small. Our condo had ac thank goodness and don't let anyone tell you it is always cool there for it isn't and we come from Dallas. It was good for the price but think I will spring for more and stay elsewhere next time for ac didn't work one night and then couldn't use washer and dryer for dryer was broken. We rented through an individual but all are managed locally I think.

Good value ...
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/01/04
These condos are not so nice, interior is dated and cheap, view is just okay, limited beach access. But, they are quite affordable. On balance, a good value.

Sealodge Magic

Fabulous 180 degree ocean views, sunrise, moonrise, and blazing sunsets. Afternoon rainbows drift into the lagoon. Mountain views of mist-shrouded waterfalls. 20 minutes from the best snorkeling beaches on the island...Tunnels and Ke'e, at the end of the road. Fun shopping and a variety of restaurants in nearby Hanalei. Groceries at Foodland in Princeville Center. Also, Lappert's ice cream! My favorite restaurant - Bali Hai at the Hanalei Bay Resort in Princeville. Beautiful views. Sunset is around 6:30 or so. Great pictures! Kauai's North Shore is peaceful, soothing, and beautiful. Enjoy!!! Aloha.
