terrible waste of money
By Alli, 2/7/06
The service here is terrible. The valet's dented my car and the management said they had no responsibility. Any company with this poor customer service should not exist.

Great Location
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/30/08
It is a great location, but stay away if your not a clean person! The elevator was janky, the bathroom had mold, and the just the overall smell of the room was weird!!!! Our view was terrible. The decor was cheesy. If you want location for a cheap price, I suggest to book your room with the ocean view. I peeked at the rooms during house cleaning and its better and cleaner looking.

Average Hotel at a Good Price
By DC, 10/8/07
We stayed at ResortQuest in Oahu for 1 night just to crash before our early flight out to Maui. This place was second rate, but the purpose was just to get to a hotel after our 10 hour flight and crash which is what we did. Next time, I would skip Oahu completely and just take a connecting flight to Maui.

Prepare to be disappointed.
By LNI, 8/2/12
Where to start.......Valet only parking. The check in counter is on the 3rd floor. This may not seem like an issue, but you cannot use the elevator without a room key. Once you check in (you will pay a $10 Amenity feeeven if you don't plan to use them), you can go to your room via the elevator. To use the elevator, you go to a centralized key pad where you swipe you room key and punch in the floor number. The lcd screen will then tell you what elevator to use. Move fast because if you miss it, you have to start over again. Now that you've arrived on your floor and make it to your room, you'll open the door to your 80 degree room and see what appears to be the original furnishings from when the hotel was originally built. The carpet is sticky/dirty. I don't even want to walk on it without my flops. There is no wireless connectivity.....only wired (part of the $10 you paid at check in) Bathroom....old....poorly refinsihed...lacking any appeal. The bed.....as a frequent taveler, I can tell you the quality of the bed is at thebtop of my list and the quaility of the beds here is at the bottom. While I doubt they are as old as the furniture, they are surely old and in need of a replacement You'll love the !8" deep lanai with no room for even the smallest chair ovwrlooking the rooms in the other tower that are nearly close enough to jump accross to. Great view of the inside of eaxh others room. While I'm sure there are worse places to stay though I am glad I haven"t encountered them. I recommend sticking to the places you know you cn count on like Marriott, Hyatt,Hilton Etc The only positive I can offer is the staff is friendly.

Unique hotel
By elizabeth, 4/27/06
Really liked Tiki's and the breakfast. Both were unique. Did not like the 17th floor though...very noisy from the wind. The doors had gaps in them causing wind to howl through.

Wonderful Place to Stay
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 2/19/10
The hotel is in a great location (right across from Waikiki Beach). The room service was wonderful and hotel staff very friendly. The room was beautiful and decorated accordingly...we actually felt like we were in Hawaii while in our room. In the lobby area there were three different booking agencies that would book you for whatever journey you decided to take for the day (even car rentals). The hotel was within walking distance of the beach, Diamond Head, and plenty of shops and places to eat. My husband and I were visiting for our 1year anniversary and originally had booked our stay at the Park Shore Resort (DON'T GO THERE). Park Shore was VERY disappointing, the staff was unfriendly, and rooms were outdated/gross. So, upon arrival we refused our room and Aston was able to put us in a king size ocean view room (with breakfast) for around the same price! The only things negative we could say about this hotel is a Wifi connection would be a great addition (internet is 10.00 per day if you decide to use it), and if you rent a car overnight you will have to pay around $30.00 for parking. Other than that, our stay was great!

Wonderful Hotel
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/31/11
The location of the Aston was perfect! Everything was in walking distance and spectacular views of Waikiki. The rooms were a little small but normal. I did not like the location or size of the pool. It is right next to the restaurant and it closes really early. The staff was very friendly and accomodating. Overall my husband and I had a great stay.

Hotel Mix Up !
By Heather, 5/26/05
Right after getting off that long flight , we get to the Ashton Coral Reef and find out that they moved us to Ashton Waikiki so we had to pile back into a cab for a short ride..then get into the Ashton Waikiki and they put us in the old part of the hotel which looked like motel 6 on a bad day.Which wouldn't have been such a big deal but "we" were six women ages 23-45. After arguing with them they put us into the main hotel which was beautiful and also came with an additional price. All in all the hotel looked great, always clean, the people were friendly but next time I will choose a different hotel!

Only good for business Travel
By Dirci, 12/19/05
I did like the location. Just a minute walk to the beach. The rooms are small and not very pretty. Pool closes at night and the hallways smelled awful. No coffee in room and no microwave. Elevators slow or not working. Pool not heated. no self serve laundry.
