Make sure you get what you ask for!
We had booked 2 rooms, non-smoking, king-size beds. On arrival in late afternoon, our rooms were not ready - ok, not a big deal. When we got to the rooms, they were both on different floors. Neither room had king sized beds (2 full beds instead), and one of the rooms had a strong odor of smoke - the entire floor happened to be smoking. My pregnant wife was the least impressed. The tap/faucet in the tub was also stripped and didn't work well - amazing how house-keeping could have missed this one. Parking also cost us $30/day for valet not including gratuity because there is no other place to park. The front desk offered to put us into different rooms next to each other and in non-smoking areas (which is what we had originally requested), however, they said that it would be an additional $100 upgrade!!! They said that even though we had requested king size beds, that there was no guarantee that we would get them upon arrival. So make sure you get what you ask for! Also, they have a great program called breakfast-by-the-beach, however only certain rooms qualify for this. If you want it - make sure you qualify for it!
On a good note - the rooms were fairly clean, staff seemed friendly and willing to help, location, location, location. Location was excellent - right across from the beach, a sheltered swimming area for kids, great restaurants and sites and sounds nearby.
Unfortunately, we just had a bad experience - we hope yours is better.
