Loved Waikiki

This Hotel was very nice, not the best on the beach but a good place to stay. We didn't have a car in Oahu but with the location we didn't need one. There is a Budget car rental a few blocks away if you want a car for a day. We walked down the beach 200 yards and walked onto a great sunset cruise for $20 each. The International Market Place was a few blocks away. The Marriot one block from the Hotel has the best buffet I've ever seen for $25. Don't miss Snorkeling at Hanauma Bay, this is a beautiful place not to be missed. If you don't snorkel the beach is worth going to by itself. We wished we had stayed in Waikiki all week instead of moving to Maui after 3 nights.
WE loved the music every night at Tiki's, we could hear it from our room and sat on the balcony and listened sometimes. If you go to bed early (before 11) ask for a room away from the patio. The breakfast came free with the room,it was OK, not great, but you could find enough to eat, like ceral and pastries and it saved money so you could eat a nice supper.
