Hale Koa Hotel, Military Only, Honolulu

I have been to Hawaii 3 times in the last 4 years. We have stayed at the Hale Koa Hotel 2 times. We actually got married at the Hale Koa. Everyone is so friendly! The service is really what you would expect from a 5 star hotel! We look forward to returning to the Hale Koa later this year!

...Fly all the way to Hawaii, and......"could I git some old Guac & Cheese Whiz on those Nachos", just disgusting! The 01Sep08 morning Buffet, was even more of a disappointment, out of almost everything, excusses that it's got to come from the downstairs kitchen, out of Plates, Glasses, etc........Do you think that I was spending $15 a plate and costing me almost one hundred & fifty bucks, that someone, anyone from this Resturant would've asked me how everything was, not on your life, because there was probably five of us from my location which I observed, would've wrung his/her neck. We are done with the Resturant(s), we will stay here only & walk to CheeseCake Factory for Drinks & Dinner, and Wailana Coffee House for an excellent Breakfast.

The Hanoi region has been inhabited since the Neolithic Age and its colourful history is rife with legends of dragons and battles and famous Kings who repeled the ever-present foreign invaders . To many foreigners the stories are fascinating , if not sometimes confusing , but to Vietnamese they are extremely important reminders of who they are and where they come from .Many Hanoi residents are well versed in history that dates back thousands of years

it wasn't that great. don't come to this hotel if you are expecting fancy schmancy things. the pools are filthy, too.

I am taking my family on leave to Hawaii. I called over to this hotel to find out the rates and the first person I spoke actually asked me why I was bothering her with this question. I was transfered to about 4 other people and finally some lady answered the phone and said "Listen I dont know what you want but we can not help you" Wow! amazing, for people who are supposto be acting like a business I dont think they deserve ours.

We have stayed here 6 times and it just keeps getting better. We did see people who were staying there that we didn't think were qualified. We know that it is not entirely military who are allowed to stay but we felt there were some who were not qualified.

this place is a great cheap alternative, but it is only for people in the military or usaa members. it is near the beach and truly lovely.

Who can access this place? I have not been there recently. Don't like the side views. Smoking rooms have dropped. There is a good diner on the corner. The loud music keeps you up at night if your an early sleeper.

The Hale Koa is definitely a value considering it's location along the row of world class hotels. Hale Koa ranks up there with some of the best. The privilege to stay here is a reward to those sacrificing their lives to serve our country.

OUTSTANDING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What else is there to say? I found nothing bad about anything there.
