Great place, some amenities could improve.
Love the location but think that the organization could look at making a few more options available to the Soldier's and their families (registered guests) at no additional cost. The below are only issues if you are staying for while. (We've only stayed at one other Army Family Recreation Center to make a comparison.)
1. We have to pay for internet,$10 per 24 hour period per laptop, there is no free wi-fi zones of any kind and believe it or not the business center charges as well.
2. There are no dvd players in the room so be sure to bring something to connect to your TV - they do have the proper connections. The movies cost $10 on the hotel movie pay channel.
3. The parking charges $7 a day - not bad really, but surprised there isn't something in place for guests.
4. There is no refrigerator in the room. There is a cooler/chiller box that will keep non-perishables. They have community microwaves available on the 3rd floor only.
5. There are 2 pools here, 1 pool for guests and any military.gov't I.D. card holder and another pool for hotel guests, 18 yrs old and above, only. We, as a family, have no option when the other pool becomes crowded and full of unsupervised and wild children, even as a paying, registered guest.
