Disappointment!
By ,
I was on a short business trip to Hawaii and had to stay there for few days. My company booked me in this hotel. It was a great location but I being a vegetarian from India, faced a lot of difficulties. They didn't even have a microwave oven! leave alone the kitchen module...I was so vexed, surviving daily on breads and vegetables from the nearby market of Daei(24 hours). They have a great ambience and a sea view and good proximity to all centers of the city. They are directly connected to the Alamoana mall and that is very convenient. Overall was an OK stay but I can never forget those days of just eating subs and more subs daily...

Ala Moana--I would never recommend it
By ,
I reserved a room at this hotel for myself and 14 year old son. When I arrived there was no room available, after I became angry they let me have a room for only one night and was given one double bed for myself (mom) and fourteen year old son. I had to find other accomodation for the rest of the time. The pool was not open, and this had been one of the things that my son wanted. So needless to say I would not recommend to another.

Beautiful and close to the heart of Waikiki and Shopping mall.
By ,
Rooms are newly renovated and luxurious for the price. Site is within walking distance to the mall, restaurants, and the BEACH!

Great shopping and location
By ,
I recently stayed at this hotel, and loved it. It has recently been revamped. I was in a room, that had just been released. The pool was great and the restaurants were wonderful. Rumors the night club rocks all night! The largest open outdoorsie type, shopping mall, I have even been to was just outside the door. If you like great views, nice rooms, good eats, and shopping then this is the place for you. The only draw back I can see is there seems to still be some construction going on, but it did not bother us.

Ala Moana
By ,
My husband and I spent the first night of our honeymoon here - my sister-in-law's brother (who lived on the island) paid for the night as a wedding present. The bathroom was really dirty: mold in the caulking and corners of the jacuzzi bathtub. The huge mirror above the headboard was a bit weird. But they offered a complimentary breakfast the next morning that was pretty good.

Vacation's the Life
By ,
I loved the food there and I can't wait to go back and visit again for the service, the places, and every thing else that I liked. My favorite thing to do there was the pool and spa. It was relaxing and I really needed that relaxation.I really liked it. It was great and it was fun!!

Nicely Renovated
By ,
The hotel was under renovation, so the pool was not open and the restaurant only had a breakfast buffet in the morning. The room was renovated and very nice. Included a coffee maker, refrigerator, microwave and hair dryer. The bed was very comfortable. I was there for business and have stayed there many times. The price was a little high compared to what was charged before. Location very convenient for shopping.
