Rebuilt after a storm, totally new place.

We loved our stay. We were in town for a wedding, and the bride recommended this Inn. We stayed in a queen suite. The rooms were narrow and long, but fine for 2 people. Both the bedroom and living room had flat screen TVs. The bedroom and living room had very nice new furniture, very heavy quality furniture (cherry bedroom sets). The bathroom was very nice, large tile walk in shower, sinks in two rooms, claw-foot tub, separate room for the toliet, thick, heavy towels, bathrobes. Kitchen was small but nice. It had everything you needed. Small breakfast table. Beautiful view, balcony. Swimming pool. I'd love to go back!

I reserved a room with a kitchen, then was moved to another room, which was smaller and was charged a higher amount. I was not informed of any of this, it was just done.

Exactly What We Wanted

There were seven of us going to St. Simon's for the week. We wanted ocean FRONT rooms. There are only two ocean front hotels. I am SO glad we chose this one. Everything was clean, the rooms were spacious, and the balcony, large enough to seat five comfortably, held a magnificent veiw. I loved being steps from the ocean. This is not a new hotel, some paint has chips and some tiles are cracked. So if you are looking for brand new luxuries, this is not for you. If you are looking for fun in the sun in a clean and affordable hotel, don't hesitate!
