i wouldn't stay here again
By golfgrll, 07/07/08
staff wasn't nice. we had a dirty room. the hotel had a odor. i had bedbugs in the bed. there was mold in the shower curtain. the ceilings and walls were stained. the sheet came off one of the beds. rust was seeping in to the toilet. the towels were dirty. looked for iron and ironing board. the blankets and comforters had hold holes in them.

Affordable, convenient hotel
By Patrick, 03/03/08
This was a nice place to stay for the few days that we were there in Rome. The room was clean. The service was good. I enjoyed the continental breakfast every morning. Kentucky Fried Chicken/Pizza Hut/Starbucks/Olive Garden were within a block away. Broad Street, which is smack in the middle of Rome's historic district, was about 1-2 blocks away. The only bad thing I can say is that the matress was a little too firm for my husband and I.

SATISFIED OUR REQUIREMENTS
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/26/08
Son is attending local college. Hotel is ideally situated with bars and food outlets next door. Room comfortable with complimentary breakfast available if required. Starbucks and KFC located within 100 yards. Shopping malls within 5 minutes drive.

dirty
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/14/05
this place is disgusting. our room door had a small gap on the top which you could see through. the door wouldn't close completely. the carpets were filthy. and the swimming pool was closed by the health department while we were staying there over a four day period. people were nice. but nice people don't make this hotel worth staying at with all things considered.

Just Nasty
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/21/05
Location is the only thing going for this place. Floors were filthy, bathroom floors were slick with something dark. Room service didn't even clean room, change linens or towels even after calls to the front desk. Strange odor in room. Lights didn't work, no remote for tv. Gnats in the continental breakfast area. Couldn't change hotels as there wasn't anything within 25 miles that could accommodate our large party.

I will NEVER go back!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/12/05
This was the most smelly, nasty, filthy room I've ever stayed in my entire life. There were dirty towels still on the bathroom door and the bathroom trash had not been emptied. It had a nasty odor, not smoke, just plain filth. I checked out early and would never stay there again. The only good thing was it was convenient but I'd rather sleep in my car.
