Alden Beach Resort, St. Pete Beach

If you're a family looking for something for the kids to enjoy, then this is the place for you. Your kids will not be bored when they stay at the Alden, I guarantee it. Shuffleboard, two swimming pools, two hot tubs, tennis, basketball, ping pong, weight room. If you like to eat in. there are BBQ's where you can enjoy a nice steak overlooking the Gulf. Do not look anywhere else. This is the place for you and your family.

Liked the FRIENDLY STAFF, GREAT BEDS, PRICE and ACCOMADATIONS! This hotel is not the faciest or most updated but everything was neat and clean. It was the best thing going on beach! It is close to EVERYTHING. I will certainly stay again.

after arriving and asking around we found that for what the alden has to offer they are way over priced, the only thing that was nice about the alden was the location, they dont have a restraunt, they have a bar but only serves till 9, and the drinks were very poor quality, having a liqour licsense doesnt make you a bar. save your money go somewhere else

Location was the best. Staff could not have done a better job. They were all awesome. Rooms were very clean. They do need an update on the furniture. I think that is being done in some rooms. Don't like the smoking allowed in rooms below our balcony. But the staff is so great that this place has the potential to be the very best. Rooms are a bit small gulf front in the lanai suites. Kitchen is in the hall. But the view was amazing. Even saw a dolphin one morning.

The view was great. the rooms were very spacious. Interior decor of rooms was pleasant. The room didn,t smell "odor covered" with sprays like some hotels. 2 pools...nice. The front desk was very helpful with anything I needed.

This was a great resort and a great stay for several reasons. There was always something to do ie:Tennis, Pool, Basketball, etc. The rooms were great and the beach was unbelievable. It was a great stay and I would very strongly recommend this resort to anyone!

Was here with my wife and daughter back in January. I should have reviewed earlier because it was a perfect 7 day vacation. Location is great, beach is great, beach bar is fantastic. It is a great spot for families. A playground next to the beach bar...pure genius!:) The service was fantastic, as well. We booked a Gulf Front Suite...upon check in, we discovered that we had a first floor gulf front...probably great for some due to beach access, but we were looking for a higher floor to experience the great views. I called to the front desk and nothing was available...no big deal, becuase the room was still nice. However, 20 minutes later, I got a call saying they were able to do some manuvering and get us a 4th floor gulf front room. They came by with the new key and helped us with our bags. That kind of service is what will keep me coming back for many years to come. I Highly recommend this place for family vacations!

It is right on the beach and is an excellent family oriented hotel. Though it is not inexpensive, it is a great value compared with other hotels nearby.

This resort has everything. There were things to do everyday and the location was convenient for everything. It's clean, the staff is courteous and my child keeps asking "when can we go back."
