Comfort Hotel Hakodate, Fort Myers

This place is very run down (ripped wall covering, holes in the walls, worn furniture, valance falling from the wall, etc.). Large bag of trash and pile of used linens outside our door at 10:00 PM check in. I wouldn't stay there again.

If only the management of this place would clean it up a little. I've stayed here 3 times in the last three years and the housekeeping gets worse each time. Note to Managment: This is a public hotel -- you need to clean the carpets and furniture now and then. I didn't want to walk around the room barefoot. And how about some light in the bathrooms - the 5 watt bulbs you've got in there are barely enough to shave by. Get a bottle of Tilex and spray the mildew in the bathtub. While you're at it get some decent towels -- the two you've got in each room are thin as sandpaper and about as soft. And the elevator from the parking garage is awful - trash and worse all over. This place could be a jewel. The rooms have million dollar views. The score would be lower but the price ($89/night) is not bad. Sorry, I won't be back until it gets cleaned up.
