Do not stay here!!!!
By ,
My stay at this hotel was horrible. I have never experienced the type of treatment staying at any hotel in my life. I work in cust serv so I know a little about how it should go.Where should I start well lets start at check in when I arrived in my room, mind you it was already 40 degrees outside and the heating unit was not working .So I waited an hour or so ,still no heat ,I called the front desk spoke w/ a mng who advised as they so professionally put it a an engineering consultant would be up to fix the problem . Well people after 3 calls and 4 hrs later I spent the night in a freezing room, this should have been my warning , But due to the FLA Classics and availability of rooms . I req in the am to change rooms .If you have more than one occupant in your room 2 towels and washcloths is not enough , another addition might I add that I had to req several times. Well I finally was moved to another room ..on the sec floor mind you my orig floor was on the 5 th in another building exhausted is putting it mildly after I moved. Guess what people If you watch BET forget about it becasue this channel does not work when the sun goes down .If you use a debit /credit card even if you have checked in and out and have pd in cash your acct will still be drafted and of course as the polite stmt is I apologized for the incoviennce but there will be a hold of your money that you have already pd in full for 5-7 dys . People read the reviews ,I should have and maybe I would have not had to post this neg review. signed rep w/ BBB ??? / hotel secrect shopper.

Take disinfectant spray with you
By ,
We were given a handicap room at arrival. The room was on ground level and every person staying in our building and ones past us had to pass our room, which made for a lot of noise. The room had only a full and twin bed. The bathroom floor was dirty (looked like feces on it). The shower handle didn't work correctly. We then asked for a different room and was given 3 choices (one was 3 blgs down and on the back side). The one we took also had a dirty bathroom. The walls of the shower/tub had dirty from previous visitors. The floor was sticky and very dirty on the edges.

no, deffinetly not ok
By ,
I felt like in an "auquarium" as everyone can see everything inside your room- the window opens to a corridor! So you close it almost every time, but you have to face the incredible musty smell in the room. I asked to change to another room , but i was told that there were not any others available. The final result was asthma crisis everynight!!! Also, when you see the internet page of the hotel you may think they offer breakfast. Actually, breakfast is there, but you pay an unacceptable amount of money to eat a terrible food!!!

It was ok, but
By ,
The rooms were clean, but they were not like what was in the photos online. We stayed for six nights, January 9th throught the 14th for the International Home Builders Show. The last night we were there we had to tell one guest several times to be quiet between 1:00 am and 4:00 am. When I informed the front desk they simply said, yeah we had alot of complaints last night, and she didn't want to do anything more about it.

Not Good
By ,
I just returned from a week stay. Usually I stay on Disney property. The hotel is in a good location, but that is about it. All the staff was rude and not very accomodating. The rooms (especially the bathrooms) never seemed clean. I did not see any bugs as some reviews had said. The biggest problems were the beds. They did not have fitted sheets, so every night the bed came apart. The blankets were thin and rough. With all the hotels in Orlando, I would defintely look elsewhere.

O.K. for the price
By ,
The staff was friendly and helpful, our room was clean with fairly recently updated carpet and bathroom fixtures, the beds were comfortable, and the room had all the amenities promised. Location is great, close to lots of good restaurants and entertainment, as well as the convention centre. Our only complaint was noise from other guests late at night; we called security about that 3 times in 6 nights.

noisy and boring
By ,
It is ok because it has a road like the m4.for service they kept dropping things on the floor there was nothing to do thank god I was going to the theme parks they were brilliant especially universals islands of adventure and kongo river rapids at the animal kingdom and really the only good thing for the kids was the small pool outside a good shopping mall down the road and sea world is only 2 miles away plenty of shopping on international drive you would have to hire a car as the bus is late every day so overall theme parks brilliant but hotel bad good night life cleaning lady did a good job

Good value hotel to stay at....
By ,
Me and my friend chose this hotel as it was close to the attractions we wanted to see. After scheduling the trip, I came on here to check out the reviews of the hotel and was kind of scared by some of the reviews I read. I was hoping everything would work out...which it did. We stayed here from February 26th to March 5th. Front desk staff were nice and checked in very fast. We were placed in Building F on the 7th floor. We had a nice view of Pointe Orlando, the rest of the plaza and could see the lake on the other side of the busy I-4. Our room was quiet. Two double beds. There were no problems that were mentioned in the previous reviews. No bugs could be found, roomed cleaned daily, door locked well, room was quiet at night. You get what you pay for and our room was worth it. One slight problem we had was there was no phone book as we were looking for places to eat for dinner. My friend called down and asked for a phone book but they never brought one up. We just used our wireless internet connection to find a good place. We called the next day and the phone book was brought up in less than 5 minutes. Good Italian place to eat: Maggiano's in the Pointe Orlando. Don't get the large portion as their portions are huge and we had a lot of leftovers. Beds at the hotel were a little soft but didn't have a problem getting a good night's sleep. Shower nozzle had 3 settings but not a lot of pressure on the regular shower setting. Wireless internet was free using a laptop computer and got a good connection. There was the internet in the room that you could pay for but didn't need to with the good free connection. Got kicked off a couple times, but that's common as it does at home for me too. Free shuttle was good as we took it to Sea World. You just have to reserve seats. It's a bus that drives up. The driver was nice and the bus was on time. Never ate in the hotel restaurant. Browsed through the gift shop which wasn't that expensive compared to many other hotel gift shops I've been in. The Lite Bite food place was good but it is cheaper to walk or drive down to Walgreen's which is about 2 blocks away from the main entrance. Pools were maintained. Just had to take elevator downstairs and pool was almost right there. It was a heated outdoor pool. There was another pool about 200 feet away but it was not heated. There is a 3rd pool by the front entrance as well. I would assume it was heated. If you want to save money on a hotel room, want a short drive or shuttle to most of the Orlando attractions and don't mind staying in a kind of dated hotel and room, then I recommend staying in this hotel. If I come back to Orlando on my same budget, I will look into staying at this place again.
