Golden Palms Inn And Suites Ocala, Ocala

I'm a big traveler, I live in hotels that's why for me it is very important a room to be clean and the staff to be friendly. I have to say I never got so close with any staff in two weeks- everybody treated me as a family, were very friendly, helpful. Meanwhile my 2 weeks stay in Golden Palms I've met amazing people from all over the world. Had a wonderful time!

We were just in town for the speedway one exit away and it was great that this hotel offered the speed channel. We will be back. We also loved the accessible WIFI and free local and long distance. We actually aren't Canadian but they offer free calls to Canada as well. This was a great trip and the hotel accommodated us very well.

We decided to stop in Ocala and saw a few other hotels but wasn't pleased with the rooms. We stopped in here and was very happy with their rooms. The suites are beautiful but we were traveling so decided to get a executive room with a plasma and a fireplace. We felt at home and were greeted by a friendly staff. I definitely recommend staying here.

This was a great place! Price was great and the rooms were awesome my wife and I stayed in 1 of they're jacuzzi suites and fell in love we didnt want to leave!! The staff was not only very nice but went out of they're way to make us a feel at home. We had a very enjoyable time and will for sure only stay at that property when in Ocala!! WONDERFUL JOB TO ALL OF YOU

I am a trucker that comes thru Ocala and never stayed at this hotel before but I was so shocked when I checked in by the staff being so friendly and the housekeeper was so friendly and showed me all the different rooms in this hotel. I am going to come back and visit this place more regularly as a trucker but I plan to stay in their Jacuzzi Suite with my wife as a special weekend getaway. I was so shocked to see such nice rooms in this small town - such a hotel could have these kind of beautifull rooms. But a message to all the truckers a definite best trucker rate in Ocala at the Golden Palms in and Suites!! Keep up the good Job!!! Absolutely Recommend this Place! Worth the money and the time to look at all their differnent suites!

This hotel was great, the service was great, the room was clean, and unlike most hotels i was able to call my friends all over the US, they have free long distance for guests. I rate this place a 5/5 I will be coming back to say here again.

What a neat great place to stay is what I have to say about the Golden Palms. Great property neat and clean updated rooms. Great staff made me feel like I was a VIP. This Hotel had everything even liquor for me and the wife to enjoy at a nominal fee. We stayed extra days because we enjoyed it so much and the staff was well informed about the area. We would recomend this hotel to anyone, in fact we are coming back just to try out one of the special suites. In this ecconomy what a novel idea world class hotel at Howard Johnson prices. You guys rock. :)

First off, the moment we arrived the police were there because of an angry customer that was complaining about the price. Turns out a lot of people were told 1 price, but charged another much higher. Secondly, the hotel itself looks like some redone 50 year old building. It smelled like fresh paint. The rooms were very drafty, no hot water, and there was old coffee left in the pot.YUCK! Lastly, the staff was rude and at times downright mean to customers.
