Oceania Beach Club, New Smyrna Beach

I love the Oceania Beach Club because of the beach and it's in walking distance to restaurants and shops. We go at least 2 times every summer and have celebrated numerous events with the family there. However this Mother's Day weekend was disappointing because of the unit we got. Unit 304 is in desperate need of new carpets. They were so filthy that I asked for another unit, but it was full so We had to make do by not allowing anyone to walk barefoot in the rooms. It's a pity that they would even consider renting a unit in those conditions.

I stay here for two months in the late winter. Since I am by myself I feel very safe here. Down the block on Flagler Ave is all kinds of shops and bars and restaurants, it's a very good location for walking and family. I enjoy a beautiful view down the beach. The unit I stay in needs updating but is very good for the price. (the towels are hard and scratchy but by the time I leave they're nice and soft again..lol). I plan on staying here again for many years.

About 20 people, including myself, stayed there for a wedding near by.....So far, 14 of us have flu like symptoms. I am not saying it is Legionaries Disease, but if you google the symptoms that is what most of have. No one could work this and this is not a coincidence!!! This was the worst place I have ever stayed at, including the hair clumps in the bathroom the day we checked in, the beds which would not even be allowed in a jail, and the other rooms filthy conditions!! Stay away!!!!! At $200 a night, it is a complete joke!!!! Unless you want to get sick!!!

Nice location but the sleep accommodations were terrible. I have to say that this was the worst bed I have ever slept on. The mattress was not even as comfortable as my old Navy mattress on my ship from 20 years ago. However location was great. They should have upgraded the room accommodations every thing looked 30 years old or more.

I am a race fan and I go every year and will keep going until I can't go any more. A bunch of us guys from work get together and have always stayed at the Oceania Beach Club. The local bars are right down the road so if you drink you don't have to drive.We like that unit 509 because it has a king bed and a queen bed and a sleep sofa so everybody has a place to sleep,the other leather couch has recliners on each end and I sleep there because of my back.It's super clean and has 3 tv's and anything we need.

Great location to walk to shops. Rented #106 and was easy to walk out to beach without using an elevator. However, since bedroom window is at hallway, the lights coming in were bright! Bed was terrible and pillows were like sheets of paper. Does have sofa bed which would be good for additional guests, but if you need to close blinds to keep the lights from restaurant next door out of view, some of the slats were missing and would not have helped at all.

You can't beat the location. Its so close to restaurants, shops and right on the beach. Stayed in ocean front Unit 406 which has been beautifully updated with new appliances, comfortable beds and wallpapered baths with a whimsical underwater theme which the kids really enjoyed. We will certainly request unit 406 in future visits to the beach.

We stayed in room 601 and it was beautifully decorated and clean. The patio overlooked the beach so I could watch the sun come up in the morning. The unit was very clean and well taken care of. The only drawback was that the coffee carafe had been replaced with the wrong pot so the coffee didn't drip - overflowed everywhere! Will certainly stay there again.

You might fine a coupel or three units that are ok ,what about the others ask to see what you will get.the unit we had was not clean at all it was old and dirty.

The renovation is complete and the place is like new! Ask for room 304 it is updated and one of the newest and cleanest most comfortable room that we have ever stayed in. Inland Locals
