Days Inn and Suites Altamonte Springs, Altamonte Springs

My wife and I got the loft room everything seemed ok upon check-in but when we got to our room the floors were dirty, we went to the front desk the desk person told me that the cleaning staff was gone for the day and told me that he would give me a vacume cleaner to clean my own room. the staff sucked and i would not recommend this hotel to bums if they need a place to sleep.

This hotel had very rude employees that were hard to communicate with. We blocked several rooms for a baseball tournament and were spread all over the hotel. The swimming pool closed at 10:00 we were told it would stay open late for us becasue of the late ball games that was a lie. The room itself was fine. The breakfast was terrible and very little to chose from. Lastly the front desk lady gave us a key and told us our room was dirty (it was 5:00pm) and to check it and come back if so. We left some items in the room and I called when I realized and was told to come back and get. HA we live over 3 hours away and I said I would pay for postage. No that is our policy.............customer service is DEAD at this hotel.

The service was great. Everyone was friendly. It was unique. It reminded me of the hotel we stayed at in Mexico. We really enjoyed the suite with 2 TVs, 2 bathrooms, the bedroom was in a loft with a living room down stairs. You could walk to get food or drive. The Mall was close by, etc.

First, the days Inn reservation line booked me at this hotel and one in Orlando without me knowing it so I am fighting an additional bill! Second this room was a double non-smoking and they put us in a single smoking. We complained and they changed it and acted like they did us a favor and wouldn't charge us. HOW NICE considering this was what we reserved in the first place at the rate I was quoted. Trying to get things resolved is next to impossible so I too will file with the appropriate agencies to report fraud and I have already put a dispute in with my credit card company! I will never use Days Inn again!

Our group was quoted $55/night but arrived to $70/night fees. Hotel staff would not honor phone reservation rate and we are currently filing complaints with the Better Business Bureau and FL Divsion of Business and Professional Regulation. Rooms were dingy and smelly. Pool was not very clean either. Only reason we stayed was location to our venue. Would sleep at bus stop before staying there again. Seriously.
