Fountain Beach Resort Daytona Beach, Daytona Beach

We love this place and everyone was very friendly and are room was great..We will be back again for biketober fest and plan on staying there.We have been there 3 times and no probablems

We just got back from our week stay in room #601, What a beautiful room!! Great ocean front room with a king size (very comfy) bed, pull out hide a bed, 2 bathrooms, kitchen & bar area! the hallways were being redone with new windows and AC units but the workers were very friendly, and were done by 4pm lobby was very spacious and beautiful decorated, nice game room area by the laundry area (Wish there was laundry and ice on all floors) Ate at the lobby bar & grill, great staff (very helpful and friendly, cute too!) food was good and fair price, they had a band playing on the upper deck, 2 girls with great voices!! mini golf kids thought was great and the bartender gave a prize to the winner (free sprite) maid service very good Flo, I think was our maid, front desk was ok, a very pretty black girl checked us in and was sort of short about an early check in, but the rest made up for her! We will come back for sure, close to the boardwalk area, but had every thing to just stay put!

We stayed there fot the turkey rod run. We used to stay close to the track to avoid the traffic. but it was not a problem. the staff was very curtious and helpful. the room was more than expected,it had two double beds in one room and bath with jacuzzi.the other room had two fultons and dinning table. small kitchen and another bath with shower. it also has two balconys with ocean veiw. no problems with parking. the room was cleaned every day ,fresh towells also.nice beach. close enough to everything but not to close. our company will stay there again. ps also miniture golf and nice pool with jacuzzi.and inside and outside bar.

Get the travel coupons at the rest stops and get a room here for $45 a night. This place is right on the beach. Is in the process of renovations. Room and hotel is clean. I am here in November of 07 and this place is OK. Earlier posts must reflect a prior ownership.

I enjoyed the room that we were in. We stayed in room 221 during biketoberfest. The decor was all matching and smelled clean. The view from the balcony was pretty good considering we werent directly in front of the ocean. The lobby was clean and the elevators were in good working order. The room was nicely arranged with a barstools and a small eating area. The bathroom was a bit small but the sink was on the outer part so it wasnt to bad. I would stay there again, I plan on booking another stay there next year... the price was good for what we received.. these reviews in my opinion arent up to date... The bar area wasnt open because it was still under renovations but there were plenty of other places on the strip to enjoy drinks at.

I have vacationed in the Daytona Beach Area, for Years, walked the beach a lot, been into 20 or 30 of the local Hotels and Motels, and stayed in probably 15 or more different ones,for extended periods. The Fountain Beach was always a Great Location, an Older Hotel,Good value. But the NEW management, just this Year has put tremendous Effort, time and money into making this a Beautiful Place to match the location, and an even Better value. And I mean half of what some of the other places in the area charge. No need for me to look around anymore except for Sightseeing, I'm not staying anywhere else.

this hotel was old and awful. ice machine was broken. elevators were dirty. the door to wouldn't stay locked. the room was okay. right near the ocean and the beach. i wouldn't stay here again.

First you need to update your reviews. I have stayed there several times. Since 01/01/06 the hotel was great. before it was undergoing a face change. It is very nice now. I stayed in room 529. It was clean and afforded a king and queen bed. Great beach.

This place is a dump. Does not look anything like the internet picutres. We stayed here 3 days. Everything is outdated and falling apart

i would never stay here again. the staff, never helpful. the rooms are disgusting. the accomodations were a disgrace. the online pictures look nothing like the place. no towels, no iron, no hangers, dirty carpet, elevator smelled like trash. cough up the extra money and stay elsewhere.
