Never again
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/21/09
A lot of noise, personal everything but helpful, internet connection was bad, and the location... well, far from everything. The neighbourhood bad too.

SO NICE!
By Dodo, 12/04/08
We had a great time, from the moment we walked in, the front desk was very accommodating and our room was very nice and spacios we had 2 beds in the rooms and even a fridge and a microwave! I did not expect that much considering the price we paid, for Miami it is not bad at all. It was close to where we need to be.

Best Hotel for the reasonable price!
By Peter, 11/13/08
After reading all the reviews for this Hotel, we decided to stay and give it a try. To my surprise everything was just fine. We received a very warm welcome, the room was just perfect; it smelled fresh including the linens, bathroom was spotless clean and to my surprise it even had safety bars which was very useful to me while I was in the shower. The staff was very attentive and freindly. When we request late check-out the front desk staff granted it and they even called a taxi for us on our request.

Overpriced
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/09/07
We were looking for a hotel for one night, thinking all Best Western were offering the same. We paid 192.-- Dollar for one night, walkin price. It was totally overpriced and but we were tired to drive any further. It was 7 pm and we just took it. No breakfast. 3 nights ago we stayed in Cutler Ridge (about one hour south) at a Best Western and got the same room for 90 dollars at 10 pm with breakfast. Best Western are undependendly owned and they vary with prices.

NEVER STAY AT THIS HOTEL!
I stayed at this hotel while moving my daughter into Barry University. While parked in the hotel parking lot, my rental car driver's side window was smashed in and thieves stole belongings in the vehicle. The alarm went off all night to the point that the battery went dead. I asked for the room to be comp'd given the horrible experience and the fact that obviously there was no regard for the guest's vehicles - in addition to the fact that between my deductible and loss of personal belongs I was out about $1500. I was told by corporate that the hotel had security and no suspicious activity occured, nor any car alarms went off. The battery was dead from the alarm going off all night - yet I was never notified. THERE WAS NO SECUIRTY AND THEY LIED rather than refund me a $90 stay. I travel for work and I'm as disgusted with corporate as I am this hotel. I am canceling my account with Best Western and telling everybody what poor customer service they have. Obviously this is a VERY UNSAFE hotel and your personal belongings, as well as your personal safety are not worth the discounted rate to stay at this hotel. Stay somewhere where they care about your buisness.

Good value and staff
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/16/07
After reading some of the reviews I was a little skeptikal when my husband booked this hotel in North Miami. The price was very reasonable for the area and I did not expect much. For my surprise I found a very nice staff and they made our stay very pleasant. I felt very welcomed. The pool was lovely, and the room was very clean. What else can you ask for? I would go back and I would also recomend.

WORST SERVICE EVER-Rude manager and front desk
By hector, 02/24/07
I stayed 3 nights. In my last day, I heard people a guy screaming asking for hELP. He fell in his bathtub. I call front desk saying that a person needs help in the next room and told them what I heard. I went back as ask the the injured person if he was fine? After few minutes no one from the hotel appear so I went back to his room and talk trough his door. Finally after almost 10 minutes a personal from the hotel showed up. I met the injured person after few minutes and his back was bruse, he was around 70 years old man. He thank me and told me that the Hotel person told him. BECAREFUL NEXT TIME. I WAS SHOCKED. They didn't tell him to go and check to a near hospital or call 911. NOTHING. He asked me if I can bring him some ice because he didn't want to deal with the hotel personal any more and I didn't blame him. I met the manager in the afternoon and asked me" hoe you heared the guy? I said because his bathroom was next to my (just a wall between) Then, the manager (Pete) told me that the check the room and was soap in the bathtub and was the guy fault. The question was his fault or not, The hotel should provide him help when a guest has an accident...... At night I ask the front desk person " sheryl" for a backet of Ice while she was talking on the phone " with her cousin......... She said that I had one in my room. I replied to her that I gave it earlier to the injured guest and explain what happen...... Then she start screaming and been rude and sai that they don't have any backet of ice available. She was relly rude and the other person who was checking in was also SHOCKED by her attitude. I ask to speak with his manager and she keep screaming. Finally the manager came "Pete" and told me that they don't have any. I asked him and finally call the person in charge. It was almost 15 minutes since I asked for the backet of Ice. Even not with Ice just the backet. I told the manager if some one can bring it to my room and he said NO because they don't give that service to their guest. Even told me that I have to wait ofr the backet or they will not give it to me. My qyestion is? after all I webt trough will be nice if he bring it himself to my room as courtesy but he refused.............. DON'T go to this hotel You can have an accident and believe it OR NOT nobody will help you. Management and personal is rude. If you need soemthing no one will give it to you. The first and last time. Make my opinion count. THIS bad service has to STOP. Or they d things RIGHT or they will loose as a customers. DON't CHECK IN.......
