all good for the $$$.. This is a nice area ;not in the center but again the price is right and good service AND ability to move about....sight see.........

Staying here again

My wife and I spent 5 days here in Oct. 2004 and felt that it was well worth the price. We were able to see the water and sunsets from our room and have the pictures to prove it. We liked the Hampton Inn so well, we plan to spend Christmas there this year. The location is a bit off the beaten path for those that frequent the late night life on Duval Street, but for those looking for a relaxing place to stay, I highly recommend the Hampton. As someone else mentioned, the breakfast alone makes the rates more reasonable.

Great hotel and location

Everything was very wonderful. The room, the pool, the service, the bar and restaurant. Defenitely would go back to the hotel.

Our own little safety habour!

We were stranded during Hurricane Jeanne and had to stay 3 extra days in Key West. What a find when we stayed at the Hampton! We felt as though we were part of the family. It's the only Hampton that has a bar and the name "The Only Bar" was just too perfect. The location is perfect, near shopping and restaurants and we were only 5 minutes from the downtown area. The pool was very nice and the breakfast (included) was more than expected. The rooms were very comfortable and parking was very convenient. The owner himself had time to make sure we were comfortable. The staff was very courteous and accomdating. Thanks Hampton Key West!

Ok, not again!

There is NO water view from any of the rooms. The staff was as pleasant as they could be, it was very nice to have the breakfast available without cost. The location was not very nice and certainly was not pretty. The rooms need to be updated. I understand that the property has been sold so I doubt there will be any updates made. We actually looked for another hotel but stayed because it was easier. There are many better locations, we would not stay here again.

The best value in Key West

Want a quiet, relaxing mid size hotel to relax and unwind? One that is convenient, yet not in the middle of all the tourist traffic? One that offers the ambiance of the Gulf, but is only a 5 minute drive away from the ocean? And, one that won't bust your budget, so you have money left to eat out and enjoy the sights? If so, then book the Hampton Inn of Key West now! My wife and spent five nights there in December of 2004. The service was courteous, the front desk clerks went of their way to provide for our every need and request, and the rooms were very clean and well appointed. Hampton Inn is known for their above average continental breakfast. Well, this one was even better than the average Hampton Inn. We easily saved $20 per day on breakfast, plus we enjoy it on the deck overlooking the pool and gulf with a gentle breeze wafting in. We will return to Key West. And when we do, it will be at the Hampton Inn. See you there!

Highly Recommended!

We had been at 5 star resorts in Florida before coming to this lovely place for a lot less. Hampton Inn had super breakfasts a fun bar at the poolside and the glorious sunset over the gulf. We were even able to use the hotel provided internet access. A true delight for our money at this place! A wonderful experience!
