Great Hotel

My family and I stayed here on June 5th before our cruise which was leaving out on the next day. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The lobby was clean and the rooms were nice, plus they offer free shuttle to and from the airport as well as to the port. I also like the fact that there was a restaurant right next to the hotel, a Bennigans I believe and the food was excellent. All in all for what we paid, my family and I were very satisfied. We are planning another cruise for next year. Guess were we'll be staying on the day before I cruise? You guessed it. Red Roof Inn Miami Airport.

Roach in the Bathroom

First of all there was a roach in the bathroom when I arrived. Also the overall appearance of the place did not feel clean. It was over priced for the breakfast you received and It was surrounded by nothing. Last, the room did not have an iron.

Id never stay here again

This was probably the worst motel I think I have ever stayed at. To start off the sign in the motel says check in is 1pm however they wont let you check in until 3. So if your flight arrives early then you have to just hang out in their lobby. We were unable to use the ice machine, the vending machine and the coffee pot. The lady at the front desk was very rude and unhelpful. The say they provide shuttles to the port of Miami...this is a very disorganized unfriendly shuttle. You had to go to the lobby at 10am where they are supposed to tell you when the shuttle is leaving but they loaded us on the wrong shuttle and then got angry because people were on the wrong shuttle when we instructed to load the shuttle. Their shuttle Driver has a serious case of road rage! Cussing and honking the horn like crazy. A pretty scarey ride. My parents stayed here a few years ago and had a great experience...however they are under new management...poor management if you ask me. So if you want your vacation to be pleasent avoid the Red roof at all cost!! So honestly if I were you Id choose somewhere else.

not happy unpleasant stay

First the ice machines didn't work. None of the vending machines worked. the breakfast was a farce. had stale donuts coffe machines was not working and did not have enough juice. When we returned from our cruise we had a researvation and we had the paperwork with a conformation number and they said we had no room there so we ended up going to your neighbor the La Qunita and got a room and had a great breakfast net next morning with coffe and ice.

convinient location

reasonable price for this location. it takes about 10 minutes to reach Miami int. airport. one problem of this hotel is that they didn't put soap in the room. we stayed 3 nights and they didn't renew soaps. we ask them to put new soap and the answer was "hotel policy, we don't renew soaps" i had to buy soaps from CVS. it is also located very close to car rental stores. my overall experience was okay for this price.
 
 
 
 
 
VERY happy with our stay

We were a group of 6 traveling to Miami from Canada and being unfamiliar with the area we basically chose the Red Roof Inn off the internet. The rooms were great, the prices were excellent. Location to the airport was a plus and their shuttle system to the Port was the best they could do when everyone staying at the hotel seemed to think they had the right to be the first on the shuttle. Staff were very friendly and answered all our needs. The only drawback about staying there is the lack of restaurant facilities, other than Bennigans which doesn't open for breakfast. Without our GPS system we would not have been able to find other eateries. They do have a continental breakfast but it only offered coffee, 2 kinds of juice, small prepackaged muffins and apples and not a lot of room to sit and eat. Overall we ranked it a great place to stay and would definitely return. Good value for the price and if you prebook far in advance you get excellent prices.

Aircondition is broken (in Miami!) , still waiting to be moved to other room. Impossible to reach a guest if you don't have the room number,no one answer the phone at the guest service!

red roof inn home away from home

my first experience with red roof inn was during the katrina hurricane. all lines were down and no running water. at red roof inn, as soon as we got there, there was running water to take a shower and the rooms were neat and clean. they even accommodated us free transportation services to the airport to get something to eat and then back to the hotel. services running every hour. i knew then that i wanted to go back to the red roof inn when the weather conditions got better. so here i am going back again. i liked the outdoor swimming pool and patio scene there. i enjoyed the continental breakfast where one can self serve and bring it up to your room .and i like the that they have restaurants down the road from the hotel within walking distance to get something to eat like brunch or dinner. i also like the free transportation service. i am going this year to miami with my youngest niece cherise who is 12yrs old. i know she would like the red roof hotel and the friendly atmosphere along with there pleasant customer service. see you soon guys.
 
 
 
 
 
Close to Airport

A decent place for the money. Rooms very clean, service good. Easy access to airport. Would recommend for value traveler. The area being around airport was not really nice, but could reach other areas with ease.
