Howard Johnson Intl Dr Orlando, Orlando

The room was clean, but a little small. The staff was helpful in finding me a room earlier than expected, which was appreciative. Really the only complaint that I had was that the small refrigerator worked a little TOO well, cause the Diet Pepsi I had in it was half-froze. Other than that, you really could not have asked for a cheaper room considering it was on International Drive....it only cost me about $39 for one night. I would so recommend this hotel to others.

Stayed here in March 08. Perfect location! In the heart of it all, plus E-trolly stops right in front of the hotel...no need for a car. Plus hotel is walking distance to many restaurants and shops. We did not see any cockroaches or anything like that in our room. Overall, I was satisfied here. On the negative side, The ceiling and the top of the walls had mold on them. Bathtub did not drain very good, ended up standing in a pool of water while taking a shower. Breakfast not too great either. 2 waffle makers and dozens of people waiting in line for waffles. Took about 45 minutes to get my kids a waffle. In addition, no food could be taken out of the dining area so if you have a family member back in the room, you cannot take food up to them. Needed towels for pool..eventually had to hunt housekeeping down to get towels because it was taking forever to bring them up. If you are looking for a place to lay your head for a great price and perfect location, this hotel is perfect. (My sister spent a lot more money at a "fancy" hotel down the road and her room was infested with cockroaches. When she came to our hotel and seen our room, she said it was better than hers).

som rooms are a bit noisy next to the rave bar karaoke next door until 2 in the morning last visit we had to change rooms also the bed was a bit damp otherwise good staff very helpfull

location great. rooms a bit smaller than average but we weren't in them except to sleep. will def be staying there again. could easily fill up on breakfast

Our room seemed clean but a bit old and outdated. The knob on the cold water in the shower came off in my hand during my first shower. We went to bed about midnight and a few hours I woke up due to being bitten by something. Turns out our mattresses were infected with BEDBUGS!!!! I only recieved like 10 bites but talk about gross. We informed the hotel staff who were very polite and apologized and refunded our money.

We had reservations and they did not respect them. First, we have to wait 1/2 hour until someone showed up on the front desk We were with babies and requested non-smoking no pets room in advance and when we arrived, they told us that they have to give us where ever they have and that they had no idea if the rooms were non-smoking, no pets. Of the 4 rooms that we had reserved: One, we were unable to open the door. On the other one there was no water on the shower The third one had pet hair.

We were on our honeymoon, and were pleased when they upgraded us to the king suite for $69, the price of a regular queen room. The layout of the rooms were good, and clean enough. Just old and dingy...could use a bathmat, doorstop in the bathroom, and a good coat of fresh paint. The people in the lobby were friendly enough. Location was smack dab in the middle of I-Drive, which was good b/c it was close to everything, but let's just say that I'm glad we took a cab almost everywhere, but I would NOT have had the patience to drive in that traffic! :-)

dear howard johnson inn, the area around your hotel was fantastic.there was loads of things to do! the sevice of your hotel was brilliant but i thought the receptionest was a bit rude. i would rate your hotel ****star because it had a pool,nice food,lovly area,and it was just wonderful i may not come back to your hotel but im coming to live in orlando,florida when im older!

not a very warm welcome didnt offer to take bags or show you room.light fallen of wall,celing tile fell on sons head,no fridge in room,feet got wet when sat near pool ,should be 1 star try the rodeway inn fantastic 3 star but at the side of the howard johnson 5 star
