My family and I stayed here for our first visit to Destin. It was one of the cheapest place to stay and it was ok for us. We didn't stay there a whole lot cause we were busy doing stuff outside the hotel. We just wanted a place to lay our heads at night and to take a shower. All the other place in Destin offered stuff we weren't interested in such as golfing, tennis, exercise rooms, etc... We just came to Destin for one thing - The Beach! It was right down the road from the beach and we had a fantastic time and will be comin back very soon. Thanks Motel 6!

I should have slept in my car

Over priced, unclean, no towels, rooms in need of repair, all vending machines for drinks sold out, and not enough parking. At check in, was told to "help myself to coffee", coffee was empty, clerk said was "not going to make coffee because I get off in an hour". First stay in a Motel 6 and hopefully I never have to again. Would not recommend.

Wonderful stay

I don't usually stay at Motel 6 when on vacation, but this property is not your typical Motel 6. The staff will knock you off your feet with compliments and care. The housekeepers will provide anything you ask for extra. The beach is close by and the studio rooms are perfect for the price.

MEDIOCRE

I Wouldn't stay here again. I expected to at least have a microwoven. Charge 2.99 per day for wi-fi also. There is a walk to the beach also--the ad makes it seems as if I can just cross the street and be on the beach, not so!! The front desk person doing the check in seemed a little rude.

A good, simple place to stay

My dh and I usually stay in Motel 6's for the value. This was no exception. The location is great. Right across the street from the beaches and lots of restaurants nearby. The room was very simple and clean. Nothing special, but I guess that's what you pay for. Everything worked except for the remote control. When were on vacation, we don't spend much time in the motel anyway. Were too busy swimming and doing stuff. It's basically just a place to shower and sleep, and this Motel 6 does the job. If your one to spend lots of time in your hotel room, then you might want something more extravagant, but for $60 bucks a night, it's really not bad. Free coffee too!
