What a dive!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/08/08
Antiquated, smelly rooms! Horrible locale!!! Had to take a cab from the seaport to the hotel (which cost me $30 bucks!) because they only do one trip a day. The onsite restaurant is a joke. Folks...stay away from this place at all costs...

poor service
By Kathryn, 04/15/08
Hotel staff were unresponsive to an ill guest. I found bugs in the bathtub. The west side of the hotel has lots of street noise.

Not happy.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/19/07
We chose this hotel because of its location and supposed value for the money. We went on a cruise last year out of Port Canaveral and had a good experience with the shuttle to and FROM the port. This was not the case at this hotel. The hotel was not prepared for the number of travelers needing transport to the cruise port and many people were not happy with the service and customer relations. We were fine with the initial transport to the cruise port, but when our ship returned to Miami at 7 am we were not greeted by the shuttle as anticipated. We called the hotel and were told that a shuttle would NOT be by until they were bringing the ships next cruisers at 11:30am. That was not acceptable. We took a taxi for $22.00 to get back to our car at the hotel. SO, do I think that the value is there? No. This hotel provides poor customer service relations and poor shuttle to and from the cruise port!

abandoned
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/19/07
Their ad says they provide transportation to and from the cruise port. They had no problem taking me to meet my ship, but when my cruise returned, they refused to come pick me up. They said they only make one trip a day to the cruise port and I would have to take a cab.

Pay for what you get!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/14/07
This place is unbelievable, I mean it looks one way online, but once you get there you find out the real truth. It has SOME rooms that are better than others... and when I say that I mean the Ritz in comparison to motel 6. And who decides which rooms to give to which people... or how do they decide better yet? We were oftered a better room only after finding a LARGE FLYING COCK ROACH in our hotel room, seriously my sister asked me if it was a lizard at first. We were quite frustrated with the desk clerk/ manager who refused us a full refund.

A Dump
By Earl, 06/29/07
This place is a filthy dump. I left after being offered two rooms, neither of which was habitable. These people said they would not charge me for the experience, but went back two days later and did so. I now am involved in a credit card dispute because of them. I would rather sleep in my car!

We'll never go back
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/15/07
For the price we paid, the quality and cleanliness were terrible... half of the room lights didn't work, the sink and shower head produced only a trickle of water, the linens were stained, and the pool was dirty. Like another reviewer mentioned, I also got bites from bedbugs. The rooms were not kept up - old uncomfortable mattresses, carpet that is well worn and rippled, faded comforter sets from the 60s, paint in need of refreshing. The restaurant was good if you like Greek food, but overpriced. It's definitely worth paying 30-50 bucks more to stay at a better place.

I don't think I would go back there.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/25/07
The restaurant located there at the motel had a good breakfast, but they lack things for children to eat. We did find a couple of restaurants within walking distance that was good for Italian food and a cuban place that had good food. The shuttle service wasn't good at all!! They had a hard time communicating with us since English isn't spoken much and when we returned from our cruise we waited over 2 hours after calling them. They dropped off some people and then picked up some that hadn't even called for the shuttle. We had to make 3 more calls in order to get picked up. Not a good experience. We were able to use the pool that night, but they drained it for repairs leaving ws with not much to do. The rooms were clean, but outdated and some needed work on them. They really need to replace the mattresses and the carpet.
