Dirty and smells of odors , no service either, and pool was dirty. .

We had booked this trip through an on-line travel service and from the info we recieved our room was supposed to be on the 1st floor and near the pool. Well when we checked in we were given a room on the 2nd floor and a long way from the pool. When we asked about what was sent to us, we were told that if we had booked through them we would have gotten the room, but since we booked through a travel co. we got what was left over. When I asked to speak to the manager, was told he was not in, but he would get back with us. He never did. There are other hotels in the area and I will be staying at one of them instead of this one.

My room was clean and the staff were very nice. The room looked as if it had been remodeled recently. It did have a faint musty smell when I arrived, but I travel with a favorite candle and and a travel size bottle of Febreeze so the smell was gone quickly. I came to FL for a deep sea fishing charter and the hotel was about 15 minutes from the marina and very close to some great restaurants. I walked to the beach it is a hike but it wasn't too bad. The pool was clean. I enjoyed my stay and will stay again on my next trip

I will keep this short and sweet ....there were crusty "bodily fluid" spots the size of softballs on the blankets of both beds to include many short curly hairs, oh, my 8 year old was the first to spot these...the back headboards were also spattered with the same....there was black mold all over the ceilings as well as large holes...there were also black and red spatters all over the bathroom floor and everthing was just gross...the room smelled musty , probably from all the mold....there were dirt streaks on all walls and doors and the management staff especially DC the general manager was rude..I was told by the 800 number that I better be careful what I say to them or we could be asked to leave and still be charged....we were in an unfamiliar town with no vacancy anywhere and had no choice but to stay the night....we checked out the next morning, a day early and cut our long weekend away with the kids short because of the unsanitary conditions of this hotel...and through all of this I never even saw a manager. or had an offer to clean the room...the manager on duty refused to talk to me and I was given the cell phone number of the GM who was absolutly the most unprofessional and rude person I have ever talked to...The corporate number just forwarded my complaint back to the manager that yelled at me, so that did nothing....in my opinion they should change this location to a "charge by the hour" hotel...then at least I would understand the disgustiong conditions....this was certainly the last time I will ever spend my hard earned money patronizing this company or its affiliates.

The maids would not even come to our room to clean & one day, 5 days later the so called manager brought one & left her & all she did was wipe the counter, empty the trash and fluff the pillows on the bed I had already made. We complained & complained but nothing happened. The entire room was dirty, dog poop on the wall, dirt,dust,sand all over. The bed sheets had not been changed, you could tell they ad been slept on, but could not get anyone o change them, one time they did give me the sheets & I changed them & other times either they did not have any clean or the maids did not understand you. Most of the rooms air conditioning was awfull,did not work hardly & I have seen some of these same complaints all the way back to 2004 when I looked it up on Internet. The owner was called but has never returned our call. We contracted Scabies from that hotel and all we got was a letter from the manager apologizing & 30% d/c on next stay, which we will never use Days Inn again! Maybe never a hotel again just condos. This is just part of it. Apparently they do not care since the owner hasn't returned our call. Just take the next step. Just check out any hotel you are gonna stay at before booking so you won't get one like we did.
