Fantastic!
By Loretta Leroux, 3/2/12
Was looking for a hotel close to Union Station + this hotel far exceeded our expectations. The lobby is GORGEOUS, the price was reasonable with it's $20.00 credit per day. The breakfasts at their restaurant were fabulous. Room was clean, we had a view of the Capitol as promised and the staff was friendly and very helpful. We loved it! It was also close to many things that we could walk to. We would definitely return and would recommend it to anyone.

Horrible Service
By MKETrvl, 2/27/12
This hotel has the worst customer service I've ever experienced. My company is spending $4000 for a group for one night and the reservations person told me she didn't have time to "deal with me". Forwarded my call to a manager who was out of town. Called back and was put on hold for over 30 minutes only to be told by another person that he was too busy to look at my reservations and make the adjustment I was looking for and that I should send a fax when I told him I didn't have the info I needed to send a fax he just restated that he was too busy for me. I called back a couple of hours later and another rude woman took my cancellation without confirming which room she was canceling and then hung up on me. For $300 a night rooms this place should have a high quality of staff and service. I am afraid to send my co-workers.

OUTSTANDING
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 1/2/12
Tremendous--everyone had a wondrful attitude and desire to make us feel comfortable. It was really terriffic. Everyone of the staff that we encountered has a wonderful personality that exhibited humility and a desire to serve. It was absolutley wonderful. I has several conversations with valet staff while going in and out that was delightful. The hotel it-self was /and all it had to offer in lodging was great but, the staff is what made our stay a memerable experience. I would stay here again without question.

Best Hotel in Washington DC near US Capitol
By MHT, 8/15/11
We stayed in the hotel for 2 nights with kids and we all loved the service of the hotel. We booked Weekend Gateaway Package which gives free Valet Parking and $50 Food and Beverage Credit and used it in Bistro 25 Restaurant and food was good. We had little concern about Bed as it seems to be little old which was little unconfortable otherwise Great Hotel. I will definately recomend to everyone.

Will Never Return/Overpriced ***t hole
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/14/11
I have visited Washington numerous times over the years for both business and vacation and have always had excellent accomdations and service. This place was the worst. When we checked into our room, the bathroom was filthy. The toilet contained the remains of someone's disappointing bowel movement and the shower had mold and hair in it. As an added surprise, several earwigs crawled out ot the drain. Although one of our beds was clean, the other had what appeared to be leftover rice and curry in it. This is not an exaggeration. We were given a new room (the next day of course), but we never received any reduction in price contrary to what the manager said she would do. The manager was extremely rude and obviously made a wrong career choice. The restaurant was mediocre at best. The valet attendants and bell hops were very helpful unlike the rest of the place. Do not waste a minute of your life here.

Will not stay there again.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 5/2/11
I would like to preface my comments by saying..I have never been so disappointed in an establishement that I felt driven to post a public review. O.K. our check in was delayed by an hour. This can be very tricky with a cranky 5 year old !!! No problem. We went to lunch and returned an hour later. We were given our room key that unlocked the door to a totally dismantled room !!! The beds were apart...literally...box springs leaning against the wall and some sort of tools strewn about the floor area.Sooooooo we are back downstairs in line with several complaining customers. The clerks behind the desk were being very rude to the folks in front of me so I was ready when it was finally my turn....now 1.5 hours after published check in time. I insisted that parking which is 43.00 per night be validated....no problem the lady says....today 2 days later I see where I was indeed charged 43.00 for parking. Other than the problems we had with check in the hotel itself is unkept. Our bathroom tub had a hair we don't want to publish... in the tub....yuck. The grout in the tile had mold and soap scum was on the faucet in the shower. The only good thing I can say about Washington Court is that it is right across the street from Georgetown law campus where my daughter will attend in the fall.

Handicap on the go
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/16/10
This was our first trip to DC and we stayed at two differenct hotels, on differenct sides of DC. The hotel was very clean and all the staff were very helpful with me being on crutches/wheelchair. Even with a handicap we were within walking distance of the sites. The room was very clean and wheelchair accessible, they have ramps on both side of the foyer steps to enter and exit. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and in the future consider staying again. One reason I selected this hotel was that it had been recently renoviated. By booking with the hotel directly on line I received a better rate.

Very conveniently located
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 9/21/10
The hotel was very nice and clean. When booking be sure to review all the specials. There was only one drawback, a fire station is located two buildings away. After the first night the noise didn't bother us. I would use this hotel on any return trip to DC.

Excellent experience exceeded expectations
By Nancy, 1/17/10
The location in walking distance from Union Station made it easy and fun for us get on the Open Top sightseeing bus and get everywhere we wanted to go. The view of the Capitol from our room was thrilling for our grandchildren (ages 9 and 6) and us too. Services were all friendly and very helpful. The discount price was an incredible value for such a beautiful hotel.
