Redone and impressive
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/05/06
I resently stayed at the Yankee Pedlar Inn. It has resently gone through a much needed overhaul. New carpeting in hallways, rooms and two of the main rooms on the first level. Rooms are painted, clean and have new curtains and linens. Bathrooms have been redone, and may I say, the womans room on the main level is beautiful! They have new staff as well as some regular staff that are pleasent to deal with and prompt to take care of you. I am very pleased with my stay and would definitly recoment as well as stay there again.

The Inn looks great
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/04/05
The hotel is 114 years old and the rooms are in great condition. Our room was very nice and the staff excellent. It has great history and charm. I don't understand why some people would expect a modern hotel

Don't even consider staying here!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/30/05
I travel quite often, and this has got to be the most disgusting and disappointing hotel that I have ever stayed in. Everything in the place, from the carpet to the contents of the room was worn. If I knew I was going to pay $95 a night, I would have found a clean hotel that at least provided their patrons with a tissue box, an ironing board and iron. On my way down to check out of the hotel, there was a man sleeping on a bench in the hallway?! Not only did they mess up my reservation, the morning clerk overcharged me for the night and told me that she couldn't do anything about it because the manager wasn't present. DO NOT STAY HERE!

You are better off at the Days Inn
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/21/05
Do not stay here! I had my guests after my wedding stay here. There was hair in the sink. Many had complaints about the service and the room. My new husband and I were supposed to have the honeymoon suite on our wedding night and they gave it to someone else. There was no management staff on premise. I made gift bags for staff to put in the rooms for my guests and the day after the wedding they were still in the back office. They promised an excellent breakfast with a room for my guests. That didn't happen and a few went for breakfast and reported it was expensive and bad.

Non't stay here
By Patricia, 05/30/04
I stayed at the hotel 5/28/04 and I have tosay this is the worst hotel/mptel I have stayed hat since I was in college (1971. First I have to say that the Inn is not handicap accesable. The building is VERY OLD! It has never been upgrded and it was very expensive ($110 ) for what you get. Very dirty, hard bed uneven floors, poor ventalation, An elevator that MUST be opereated by staff and you have to plan on taking up to 15 min in advance just to get up or down to and from your room. Don't stay there unless someone pays you too.
