Horrible Horrible
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/24/09
The Summer time is not the time to go to Breckenridge!! We got into the room, which was very small and had a small bathroom. TV didn't work right and the AC didn't work. We had to open the window at night, which was facing the main street in Breck. 2am we heard every drunk person yelling and screaming and here all the construction material going up to the mountain every morning, needless to say, did not receive a good nights sleep. The restaurant in the hotel didn't serve its full menu during the summer and the food that they did have was horrible. You had to check into the hotel in the next building and it was difficult to get your things to the room. The beds were horrible. I think that the only thing good about our stay was that the hot tub were located two doors down, which I am sure is not common on every floor. I would have to say that I would have much rather have stayed at the comfort inn in frisco than stay at that overpriced horrible hotel. Hope this helps!

long in the tooth
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/29/08
March, 08 good: location, full kitchen, lots of windows, leather couch and chair, views, quiet rooms, friendly Poor heat, one leg of bed supported by phone book, saggy older mattress, loose shaky iron headboard, dirt buildup in tile and corners, limited parking, hot and cold on shower reversed, heat lamp in bathroom smelly, broiler drawer of stove would not close -kind of like buying a new car with a small but deep scratch. It runs like new but most couldn't overlook that scratch. We enjoyed our stay but the room detracted from that "special" feeling we have had when staying elsewhere. They need to spend some time and money on maintenance.-would stay again but would check availability elsewhere first.

Best Location - Especially w/ kids!
By Mark, 03/09/08
Great location. Short walk to ski lift and to the adorable town that has tons of restaurants. We never once needed our car during the entire 7 days we were there. It really is just steps from ski school -- you can see the ski school's little training are from the resort's pool. (You can also watch the stretchers bringing injured skiers off the slopes -- the medical center is in the Village of Breckenridge, Building II!!) Our condo in Building II was clean but decor is dated. They have Chateaux condos that are supposed to be a little nicer. We have already rebooked for 2009!

No Service - Poor Condition
By David, 02/05/08
We stayed the weekend of 1/25 thru 1/29. At first glance it looked okay with a great location...close to the slopes. We had 1) a clogged toilet that barely flushed (and eventually overflowed), 2) A thermostat that was stuck on high heat(Operations said it was the sunny side, but it was 7a.m.!), 3) A faucet handle that did not turn off, and 4) They did not clean the room for 2 days straight! We are a normal family of 4. Not partying room abusers. A terrible experience. The building staff did not seem to care one bit, which leads me to believe that this was a normal occurrence for them. Good Luck if you go there. It is not cheap....AND they forced us to pay up front!!! I should have had a clue then.

Nice and convenient
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/24/07
Good location, decent rooms and price. Stayed during summer, got good help from the staff for rafting and hiking. Would also recommend Beaver Run as it's close also.

Stayed at the Village in 2006 and it is the best by far of all of the other facilities. Location, rooms and service were all awesome.

Awsome location

Nice modern room, very comfortable bed, flatscreen TV, great location right off main street. Dozens of restaurants and shops within a short walk. Value was good for the summer season.

The BEST in Breckenridge
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/26/05
The Village is were it is all at! It is right at the base of the mountain (Peak 9). It is in the heart of the stores and dining. You go right down the elevator and get on the lift. If you have children the ski school is right out the door. For those of you who know how hard it is to carry all the ski stuff and get them there it is soo convenient. The arcade, pool, workout facility, locker rooms and hot tubs are great (right at the base of the mountain). All parking is underground and heated; you do not have to walk outside if you are going to pool or arcade (everything is connected underground and heated). They have wireless internet and a spa is located at the pool and hot tubs.I can't say enough great things about this location; not to mention it was economical, superior service, and everyone was very nice.
