SilverCreek Lodging, Granby

I really enjoyed having all amenities under one roof. Pool, hot tubs, sauna, restaurants, bar, ski shop, game room, weight room, tennis, shuttle to Sol Vista, Winter Park, golf, volleyball, excellent!!!

Attended a family wedding in the area and we all stayed at the SilverCreek Lodge - 150 of us. The lodge, while looking fairly updated on the outside, was very old and unkempt inside. Our room was one of the worst I've ever been subjected to. The hotel wouldn't respond to our request to quiet down the noisy neighbors who partied until 1am. The groom's grandfather had to call the cops on the room next to him when the hotel wouldn't respond. The following night he was subjected to a barrage of foul language and trash being thrown on his balcony by the same partiers and had to call the police again because the hotel wouldn't do anything. The food was subpar and the service nearly non-existant. There were a lot of very unhappy people at the wedding reception, to say the least. Also: BEWARE - They have a stringent cancellation policy and will keep your money if you try to leave to stay somewhere better!

We paid extra for an upgraded room under the assumption that advertised renovations were significant. We found a very small, outdated room with a new shower curtain, bedspread, and lamps. The carpet, paint, and bath fixtures were very old and worn. While functional, two of our faucet handles were broken. The toilet seat was cracked and likely not sanitary. The room smelled as if it had not been thoroughly cleaned in a very long time. This hotel does provide a good location fairly near the west entrance to Rocky Mountain NP at a reasonable price, but I do not believe it is a good value. I would not stay at this hotel again.
