I would definitely come back here

Very friendly staff, willing to help out with whatever you might need. Continental breakfast had muffin-like things, bagels, cereal, lunchmeat, etc., and there was always plenty of coffee, hot chocolate and tea sitting out. Free internet access on a computer in the reception area. Rooms are very spacious and apartment-like. Mine had a bedroom, living room, kitchen [sink, microwave, toaster, stove, no oven or dishwasher, but the maid always did our dishes anyway :-) ] and 2 bathrooms. Many rooms have a fireplace also. There is a pool and a hot tub outside in the courtyard area (which, by the way, is very quaint) and they were always warm enough to enjoy even during sub-zero nights. They even give you robes to get down there without freezing too much (but bring some sandals so your feet don't freeze)!
As for the location, nothing seems to be too far away from anything in Aspen. There was a bus stop right in front of the hotel, although to get to the actual bus station you'll have to walk a couple of blocks to get to the other side of the park.
