Will never go back and suggest that for everyone
By A., 07/29/09
Check in went smooth. Finding the room however was a different story - had to ask a maid who didn't speak English to find it - no elevator to the 3rd floor. No food available there. Others complain about room and want another and were told none were available. Price is too high for having to load everything up to the third floor via stairs.

Steer Clear! Cold showers, no internet, hard beds!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/21/09
Freezing cold shower water.. no matter how high you turned the dial, it didn't warm up. They said they had free high speed wireless internet however it wasn't available in my room. When I contacted the front desk about it I was told "it doesn't reach all of the rooms, but you can come down to the lobby to use it" really? Then don't tell me I have free wireless when I have to be in the lobby to use it. Also the beds are rock hard so don't expect a good night's sleep. It's a cheaper Holiday Inn and now I see why. You don't get a nice shower, or a nice night's rest...

REALLY GREAT EMPLOYEES
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/01/07
The employees were so great there. When we first arrived did not like the room because of the peeling wall paper in the room. After the treatment of the employees and friendliness of employees we forgot about the peeling wall paper. We had a microwave and refrigerator (small) in our room which a lot of rooms didn't have. Bed was very comfortable. They built nice fires in the fireplace at night which was great. The location is great because you are close to everything. Walmart right across street and bus stop right in front. Only used rent a car 1 day because of buses and convenience. The employees made us feel so at home and friendly can't say enough about that. They should put a time on the computers though kids took up the time and needed to get on for airline reservations.

EVERY YEAR!
By darrick, 01/14/07
Our stay was great, we were pleased with the size of our room and the indoor pool/hot tub. We ate every morning in the restaurant, which was great and our two kids eat free. The hotel personnel were very friendly and helpful. The hotel location is excellent, we were able to ski Breckenridge and Copper Mountain with little drive time, also there is several restaurants, ski rentals ect. in the area. It is a great place for the entire family at a very reasonable price. We will stay here every year we ski this area!

Great value and service
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/18/06
Fantastic location with an unequal value in the county. The rooms were great the staff was very helpful, and ski rentals on site. Every thing i asked for a recieved. A wonderful safeway across the street which goes well with the provided (in room)microwave and refridge...shuttle out front to Breck. Good experience

I would stay here again
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/30/06
The hotel was very nice. Everything was new and clean. Rooms did get a little stuffy and being right next to the highway there is road noise to deal with. Over all, I felt it was an a place I would stay in again.

Would love to go back!
By A Yahoo! User, 06/01/05
This Holiday Inn was so nice and so clean. My family really had a good night stay and really enjoyed the pool. The location of this hotel was awesome and the view of the mountians was excellent. The service was really good and the staff was so nice. It really made my stay one of the best. I would recommend this hotel to anyone that is traveling in the Colorado area. I give this hotel two thumbs up..

Better than others in the area
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/01/05
I stay at the Holiday Inn because I travel a lot. This is not one of the best ones I have stayed in, but much better than many of the other hotels in the area. I did not have any problems with the room or the stay, the place is just not the most inviting place to stay. The rooms are outdated and the decor is a little beat up probably due to the constant tourist traffic. I did find that the beds were not as comfortable as I am used to in other Holiday Inns. It seems to me that the place just needs a huge overhaul.
