Too many places to stay to go back to this one.

The place was basically clean, and I loved the fact that it is in the middle of just about everything you would want to do just north of San Diego, but when you get a room that is going for $185 a night, you expect it to smell better than a 1950's motel.
The north building was hot and moldy smelling. The bathrooms were small and stuck in the 50's with old small round bowl toilets, very uncomfortable. The patio doors did not close properly and lock. There were no writing supplies or information on local restaurants or things to do.
This building's patios face the side parking lot of a Fish Market restaurant so you get to listen to all the patrons coming and going, and them cleaning up and dumping trash till 1:30 in the morning on weekends. Then you get the trash trucks at 6:30am every other day, which only broke up the monotony of the street construction next door that also started at 6:30am.
We spent one week there, and as a resort owner knowing what these places should be like, will not be back.
