Good Way to Spend a Night

I have been here twice now and each time, I have received the highest quality service at the front desk each time. The wireless internet connection on the upper floors is less than adequate, so if you have business to attend to, ask for a lower level floor. Overall, the rooms are clean and quite comfortable. Each room has a Sleep by Number bed, which makes for the best sleep at night. However, the restaurant does leave much to be desired as far as service and food quality go. Also, if you are there in the summer, be aware that the air conditioning unit may not be adequate. The saving grace is the nightlife. The bar is a great place to meet and greet clients or friends.

Great room for the price

Very nice room. Top notch.. Very clean and comfortable. If I stay in the area again I'll be sure to stay at this same place.

the bar was so much fun and the restaurant is an above average hotel outlet with great steaks and salmon. the guest rooms were very clean and fit the description of a higher class hotel. I recommend this hotel to anyone.

Three rooms for my family. My oldest daughter was given the mail floor, wrong room, different name, finally got her room. My husband 91 years old and I were placed on 3rd floor,. Second daughter and husband 6 doors from us. When booking we asked for three rooms near each other, didn't get them. The dining service was terrible. Only 5 tables in dining room had patrons. Poor service and slightly rude. Our second day, the brunch was canceled one hour earlier and not informed. No consideration shown. Other patrons were upset also. Will not return.

Already Booked for 2006!

I stayed at this Whittier Hotel many times last year. My room has always been comfortable. They have always been professional, and friendly. Have had a couple of problems( lamp not working & a barking dog )and they always were helpful to resolve. I love staying there on a Friday when the Lounge was having our favorite Band playing.Very convienent to be on the main street of Whittier. Lots of shops & resturants. They also have a nice breakfast, with good service, good food. I am already booked for this Summer again!

The worst smelling hotel rooms ever

I reserved 2 rooms for my son's graduation from Whittier College. The rooms I was given were smoking rooms. None of my family are smokers. The clerk claimed there were no other rooms available. Both rooms stunk. The clerk sent a maid up to the rooms to spray with a deoderizer but it did not help. I asked the maid to remove the bedspreads and curtains. The bedspreads were the only thing replaced. The rooms still smelled of stinky smoke as did our clothes and hair. I will never stay there again. The buffet breakfast is very poor. The eggs and oatmeal were cold.

This hotel needs to be refurbished, it shows lack of upkeep from landscape to interior. For the rate, I will look somewhere else.

GREAT HOTEL

I enjoyed my visit to the Radisson Hotel Whittier. I plan on staying here again and again.. the level of service I received is second to none.
