Loved it!
By ,
Rooms were probably the most comfortable I have ever stayed in. Very large, incredibly comfortable, soft beds and pillows, tastefully decorated, high end linens. Even smelled as if the air was filtered, not that typical "hotel smell". Attention paid to smallest details such as providing make up mirrors and the hardware in the bathrooms. Staff was very accommodating and friendly. Pool area was beautiful. Great location. We were here during the off (HOT!) season, could NOT afford to stay here during the cooler times of the year. As is with most hotels in California, I do not like the idea of paying extra for a parking spot.

Skip this one-- all it has is location.
By ,
This hotel is overpriced, and despite what you may have heard, there's really nothing gay about it. Our room was clean, and it is really very close to the bars on Arenas-- and that's all. On top of that, they've mysteriously charged me much more than I had agreed to, so I get to deal with that now. There were lots of families and screaming children when we were there, which didn't make for much of a relaxing stay. On top of that, there was an entire gymnastics team of teenage girls staying at the hotel. Honestly, don't let anyone tell you this is a gay place.

Very nice hotel but pricey
By ,
Stayed at this hotel with a group of girl friends for Bachlorette. Very nice we stayed in the 3 bedroom suite, very close to pool with inclosed patios. The only thing was the pool is very small for the HUNDREDS of people they let in (they charge for non guest) we felt like we were on Spring Break on MTV it was soooooooooo crowded and left back to our room. Food was very good and great location to downtown fun!

I will never stay a Hotel Zoso
By ,
When I arrived at Hotel Zoso 2/8/2008 midnight after driving for 4 1/2 hours, I was told they didn't have reservations for me. I made the reserv. through Orbitz a week before at $112.00 a night for 2 nights. They said they had nothing in their system for the next 3 years under my name. I misplaced my confirmation number from Orbitz and their system was down until morning. Hotel Zoso said I can stay there for 299.00 a night. I was stuck in Palm Springs with my 2 young daughters and just about every hotel booked. I finally found a nice room at 1:00 am at the Holiday Inn for $150.00 a night. I called the hotel the next day with my conf. and was told they have a new owner and somebody screwed up a lot of the reservations. I asked why I wasn't told that the night before and given a discounted rate. She had no answer. There was a group of others that was turned away that same night and sent to another hotel 30 minutes away because of a broken pipe. We all believe that Hotel Zoso turned all of us away with different lies because it was a very busy weekend with 3 different events going on and they were able to get $299.00 a night. Shame on Hotel Zoso, I will never stay there!!!

A great place and the best service
By ,
My group was there for the filmfest and with 13 of us total it is unheard of to have a great stay for all involved....that was until we found hotel Zoso... The good is the location, rooms and food, the great is Rod and Amy at the main bar....Rod offered us a warm smile and the most entertaining time....He had drinks he personally created and recommended called the Donkey Punch....woohoo that was tasty... We were amazed at how these two bartenders ran this entire bar with not so much as a wait and all with bright, big smiles.... I was informed that they recently had change in ownership and I think these two bartenders compliment each other and shine brightly as a beacon to the hotel Zoso.

Overpriced and was charged twice.
By ,
When we first pulled into the hotel entrance, we were told that there is an $18 per day charge for valet. We asked where the free parking was and there wasn't any! Only valet! Not only that- there was a sign that listed parking fees: $18 for overnight guests; $6 to visit; free to eat at the restaraunt). I don't understand why guests had the largest fee. Now that we're in our room, wifi connection was down. As for the service from the staff goes, they seemed nice- we didn't need anything though. Rooms were very clean and had a 40" plasma or lcd. Bed was comfortable and had a good sleep. However after putting the "please clean" sign on the door, our room was never cleaned when we returned later in the day. Location was good. Right in the middle of everything. Now for the value. $18 charge per day for your vehicle is excessive due to the fact that we were GUESTS. They charge you less if you're not a guest. I also just checked my credit card statement and they charged my TWICE! I'll be staying elsewhere the next time I visit Palm Springs.

Best place in Palm Springs
By ,
Hotel offered the most luxuries and was by farthe nicest in it's price range. If your overworked and underpaid like me this is the best bang for you buck, trully a memerable getaway for two. The pool has a beautiful fire pit that is lit at night for an anjoyable night swim. And, the bed, the bed is the most comfortable one I have ever slept on. If I went back for any one reason it would be the best nights sleep I've ever had.

A decent Stay
By ,
The place was great. Despite less than exceptional service the hotel is very nice, upscale, and the location is great! The rooms are nice, and the 24 hour room service is amazing.

My July 4th vacation
By ,
I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights, paying $138 for 3 nights and $179 for the 4th night. When I asked for a pool view room they told me it would be extra. My room was "city view" which all I could see was a parking lot. I meet some people at the pool that had a pool view room and they were paying $99/night!!! The pool was very small for the amount of people that stayed there, especially on Friday and Saturday. By Saturday the pool was so dirty, it was plain nasty, but you had to stay in the water because it was so hot. I even got Conjunctivitis "Pink eye" and was out of work for 2 days when I got home. I went to the concerige desk to get some brochures and the lady behind the desk didn't even look up to acknowledge that I was there. The only thing good about this hotel was the location. I never even saw a faux fur throw in my room!!

A great room and a great bed
By ,
You can't beat the location, it is in the center of downtwon Palm Springs. The rooms are modern and spacious, I would want the bathroom in our own house. However, if your primary purpose for staying at this Hotel is the swimming pool or to tan, you might want to look elsewhere. The pool is tiny it is only four feet deep, really a kiddy pool. The lounge area is extremely crowded, there's a waite for a lounge chair. Since I don't swim it didn't bother me.
