Radisson Hotel Newport Beach, Newport Beach

it was way overpriced....outdated tv's in room, room was plain, they say they have "sleep by number" beds, however, they only have so many so if they are out they don't tell you...you just get lucky or you don't in my case. Nothing to offer here...checkin service was very very slow. Tried to use the ironing board and it fell apart as I was pulling it out.

Had lunch there after a meeting. Nobody else in the Cafe Restaurant except our group of about 12 hungry people. Oh my God, it took two hours to eat and get out of there. Great time with a great group, but OMG, what if the place had been busy. We'd still be there.

Everything was great especieally the chef, he deserves to be somewhere where hes more than just a chef! I just go for the food but the service is good too but not as great as the wonderful chef!:)

The food was absolutely fabulous! I was there for a conference and everyone I spoke to loved the food. Hats off to your chef! The atmosphere was very nice, service was great, loved my room and the bed was wonderful!

The hotel was clean and the location was great. The problem was service and poor planning on their part. The hotel was full of soccer teams there for a tournament which was fine, but they had a wedding reception to top off one of the nights. The music was SO LOUD in our room. With so many people there, the elevators were a pain. When I asked a maid if there were stairs, she said yes and showed me to them. Unfortunately, the door at the bottom said that the door had an alarm. So, back up the stairs to wait for an elevator. Also, be sure to check your credit card statement. If we ever have to go back again, we certainly will not stay there.

Ok, so I didn't think I was going to like this hotel because of all the bad reviews it was getting. However, I thought that our stay was great. The room was very clean, the staff was very nice, the location is a bit far from grocery stores, but it's very quiet at night. It is across from an airport, but you can hardly hear the airplanes at night (and we were facing them). I also loved how the beds didn't have that un-useful cover that you have to throw off onto the floor, they change their comforters and sheets daily. If you can, get the club level room. Everything that's an upgrade in the standard room is free. I would definitely recommend this hotel to someone!

The new design blew us away! The service was excellent and the staff was very helpful. We told all our friends and family.

Just wanted you to know that we had a terrible experience at the hotel Radisson in Newport Beach. We and our daughter prepaid for rooms 4 months in advance and when we went to check in, they had sold our rooms to others. They said a reservation through the netwas not binding and they had booked 4 weddings on that day and the weddings were their top priority. After talking with several junior managers, we were able to get 2 rooms. One room was partially clean (no towels or soap) the other room had no sheets, soap or towels and personal items had been left behind...you don't want to know what those items were. The list goes on. No pool use after 3 PM because of the weddings and the parties (brass instruments) lasted until midnight eventhough the junior manager stated that the music would end at 10 PM. Eventhough we were on the 4th floor, the bedspread actually vibrated with the music. Most overnight guests were treated as we were. Not a hotel for people on vacation. Were were not treated like guests. Not a three star hotel!!!! During our week stay in California, this was the only hotel where we had a terrible service or lack of. The hotel boasts of 100 Percent satisfaction, but don't try to collect on it. When I aked them about that the next day, I was told I could not have any receipt from the night stay. I guess they didn't wish me to have paper trail... of my stay, I can't understand that one, I do have my visa statement and confirmation numbers from my booking. Of my week stay in California this was the only thorn.

Wedding, what a special event for a whole life! A lot of people may only have one only chance to have it, but Radisson Hotel Newport Beach totally disappointed us!!!!! The promise is never a promise, on the wedding day, there are at least 3 or 4 event happened at once, the service at the reception was extremely slow! Especially, the catering or wedding manager, Frances, has made statement and special request on the contract, but a lot of things were messed up! Servers were short, they served the groom and bride the fastest but the guest, they served the better look salad to the bride and groom but the guest! Because of their delayed service, the steak was hard! Anyway, there are more mess up than I can say! If I can ever live once more, I'll definitely not go to the same hotel for any special event. In this hotel, I don't see any TRUST, PROMISE, nor SERVICE!!!!!
