Local Golf Course

Probably not the most interesting, or the most challenging, but, definately worth playing once or twice.
The course is well maintained with a lot of middle to long distance holes and not much of a crowd. Less expensive than some of the bigger San Diego area courses as well, which is, of course, a bonus.
I've never had trouble getting on without reservations, but, you might want to call just in case the SLRD Men's club or Women's club happens to be holding an event that day.
Also, I strongly recommend the Chicken Tenders at the cafe by the proshop. You pass this at the 1st/9th Tee.
The driving range is unformal, and my kids have a blast knocking balls around here. It's a grass driving area, and we love playing "try to hit the ball scooper truck". Normally, they'll let kids borrow clubs for free.
