Quality Inn Fresno, Fresno

The room was not very clean and the staff was not very friendly. The continental breakfast they promised was nonexistent. Overall we thought it was the worst motel we stayed at on our trip to California. Too bad. The Quality Inn we stayed in in Medford was very nice.

I read the reviews before I went there. I called and told them to make sure that the room was clean. I was informed that they would make sure that the room was clean. The room had a terrible odor. We didn't sleep very well. I called customer service and told they that they reduced the room rate slightly but did not give honor the 100% satisfaction guarantee. I was told that because I told them at check out and not the night before I was not entitled to it. The brochure did not set any limitations on the satisfaction guarantee. It remains to be seen if the corporate office honors it or not.

After recently staying at the Fresno Quality Inn on Ashlan Rd. for several nights 10/08, I found that it was somewhat low end. The staff were a high point, the room was clean, and the Yosemite Falls Cafe was excellent. This Cafe was GREAT, you could get a good salad that was well made. The Cafe gave a 10% discount to motel guests, and the service was the best I have had in a long time. Their slogan was that they treat you like family, and they did better! Back to the motel, low points were poor TV programing and reception and the noise of the freeway was constant. I give the place a low end C+ but a B if you include the Cafe.

Room smelled like it wasn't clean, room by freeway and no internet connection plus worst breakfast ever. Package of either muffin/pastry and OJ. This place should be a rodeway inn at best. I now know why I haven't stayed there in a year. Comfort inn on West shaw much better.

Price wasnt that great. The room was very clean,front desk clerk was polite but seemed nervous and she was slow at checking people in had to wait 25 min to check in. The heater didnt work in the room and it was icey out side.So we were cold and didnt get to change rooms with our 2 kids.

After reading the review we were looking forward to having a restrauant and lounge on site, upon arrival I was told that they were no longer there, and no explantion as to why, keep in mind noone said anything about that changes when making reservations. Upon arriving at our room we found our TV's reception was horrible, I called the office and was told by a woman who identified herself as management, she stated that there was a cable problem and she had already called for service. The following afternoon after returning to our room we found that the cable was no better, I called the office to report our findings and another"management" individual informed me that this was the first she had heard of any cable problems. Another night with no TV and she was clear that there was nothing she could do and there would be no compensation, now or later. We will never stay there again, the "managament" was horrible, rude, and absolutely had no personality. I would think that perhaps in would be in the best intrest of Quality Inn that they replace "management"! There was nothing "Quality " about our stay. Make another choice!
