Home away from home

I was relocating to the area and sent on exploratory days last March. I was on a budget and the management knowing I was going to stay several days was willing to work with me. The staff was very friendly, the rooms clean and cozy. Working internet and started each morning with a nice cont. breakfast! If I didn't live in town now I would stay again.

Basic accommodation that could use a refresh

This Quality Inn is right off the 101 freeway, next to a casino. The location is a problem, since there is freeway noise and a few unsavory characters wandering around from the casino next door. Each night we were there, at least one drunk wandered over from the casino, stumbling through the bushes. The place was in need of maintenance, too - the walls were banged up, the shower enclosure was broken, etc. All in all, you could do better for budget accommodation in this area.

Laptop was stolen from the room!

I stayed here for a week and on the last day of the stay my laptop was stolen from the room. I got the access audit trails of the room and apart from using our keys the only access to the room were made by the hotel staff itself, most probably housekeeping. The hotel management was not willing to disbelieve their staff and they told that I am responsible for all the personal belongings kept in the room. Made a police complaint and hoping that I will get back my laptop.

last minute idea

At the last minute we decided to stay overnight and thank goodness there was this little hotel available. It was quite small in my opinion and wasn't the most clean place I've been in but was fine for the night. Alot of dust!

so noisy

This place seems very nice from the photos, but the rooms have the worst sound. The first room I had I moved because the air conditioner did not work. The girl at the desk was nice about it and moved to another room, this room faces the HWY and there was so much noise I could not bear it. I went down again asked for a quiter room. She put in a room at the end of the buidling, it was much better until the people check in next door. All I could do is hear the TV, their conversations and the next morning I was awaken by the water and fan in their bathroom. This place had poor wall sound. I had to leave the next morning.
