Brookhurst Plaza Inn, Anaheim

I booked the room at last minute, since all hotels around Disneyland were sold out. The pictures of the hotel looked nice, and the price was reasonable, so I booked the room. The people at the Front desk were nice. There room is a different story. There are stains all over the floor. I had to put a towel down in the shower to stand on because the tub was filthy. The window curtain are see through. There are bars on the windows. There is a little walk way if you are to look outside the window. It is kind of scary because people could be watching you from your window. The frig did not work and it had mold inside. I would not recommend this hotel!

ive been going to this hotel for years and i love it. The staff if very friendly and helpfull. The rooms are spotless and the beds are comfortable. It has been remodeled over the years and there have been so many improvements. The pool , spa, and beautiful palm trees are lovely. I got a good rate and this is the only hotel i go to when i come to Anahiem.

The location is close to disneyland and angels stadium but not close enough for walking distance. What is within walking distance is a strip club and a hookah bar. During the day, you can take the family to the tourist traps. At night, you can still enjoy some more grown up fun

Negative stuff: Hallways were very dirty and beat up. Reminded me of a laundry mat in the low rent district. Hallways are not secure. Elevator and ice/vending machines do not apprear to have ever been cleaned. Rooms [inside] were obviously cleaned well, but the furniture had lots of miles. Reminded me of visiting an elderly persons home... one that was on a fixed [low] budget. Positive stuff: The staff were very nice. Complimentary donuts and coffee available each morning. Lobby was cluttered but clean. Rooms were very clean for how old they were. Linen was bright white and smelled very clean. Plenty of parking. Major freeways not too far away. You just have to weigh out what you are looking for. I would not stay here again... only because I am used to level equivalent to Holiday Inn Express. Seemed like a Motel 6. Hope this helps.

Bad smell !!! Dirty, dark rooms. You need to bring own bed sheets, blankets ... and a lot of patience.

Can't beat it anywhere. The only issue I had was there's no shuttle to Disneyland and it's not within walking distance if you have kids. You either have to cab it or drive your own vehicle which I recommend even though you have to pay an extra $10 per day for parking.
