We checked in Saturday morning and checked out Sunday morning and were charged for 2 nights. The room was filthy!!!!! Lipstick still on supposedly new wash cloths. This place is disgusting.

Best in the West

The room was very spacious, the employees were very courteous, the breakfast was fabulous. My daughter and I stayed with my 3 grandchildren and they loved the animal bench and pond area.

Really Rude Place

We stayed at the Discovery Inn in Ukiah, with 4 rooms for 4 nights. It is difficult to know if they were incompetent or if they just do not care about their customers. Each of the 4 rooms was screwed up in some fashion. We had a non-smoking room.It was redolent with fresh smoke. Carpet was dirty. After three days the clerk called to tell us to change rooms- that we were in the wrong one. They assigned it. The clerk was very rude. A request to speak to the manager was never fulfilled. the manager will not take our calls and will not return one. There is no toll-free number. This property is old and you use it at your own peril. The pool was nice though.

Nicest Rooms I've Ever Stayed In

I'll admit I haven't stayed in a whole lot of hotel rooms in my life but, if memory serves me correct, the rooms here are the most comfortable I've been in. I've stayed here twice, so far. These rooms are, well...ROOMY. Plenty of room to move around and everything works. There's any number of stores and restaraunts close by so you don't have to travel far for most anything you'll need. It's also close to the freeway, so easy access yet no freeway noise problems. My only wish is that they had hard line broadband access but they do have wireless, or so I'm told. However, I was able to hook up using the dial up with the room's phone line and I wasn't able to do that with the only other hotel I tried that with. I'll be back.

You won't be disappointed...

Really liked this Motel. It was clean, friendly and has some interesting wood sculptures and a small trail connecting them. Very unique. Breakfast was coffee,assorted juices, muffins,cereal.I will definately stay again when I am in the area.
