Unclean & Unhealthy
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/21/08
For several months I was a weekend guest, visiting from out of state for work. I noticed I was getting rashes on my arms and neck, This would only occur over the weekend, the rash would clear up when I would go home and re-appear once I would leave the hotel. I went to the Doctor I was directed to write down all my steps of products used and foods I ate during this period. I later relaized it was the hotel. I The chairs were no always clean nor were the blankets. After finding visable siemen stains on the chairs and stains on our bedding we requested clean ones. I am also asmatic I would reserve my room a month in advance always non smoking. I was given a non smoking room, due to they gave my room away, after it had been already reserved. I was alo instructed by the Manager they only clean the blackeys once a months but the sheets daily, the front desk clerk stated no we clean the blankets daily, and the bed spread monthly, when complaining the Manager demaned we leave because we complained to much this caused financial strain due to trying to find another hotel last minute that was not in our budget. Can you believe being kicked out of a hotel becuase you want clean blankets. I am currently researching legal recourse. This was not only unprofessional but caused me medical issues that were temporary but still unwarranted due to there cleanliness. Be aware they do not clean there blankets & chairs on a regular and they dont keep track of smoking and non smoking bedding, they should be kept seperate.
