We loved our room. One and only negative: there was a slight foot odor smell when we first arrived at room. Must've been previous occupants because we dosed it up with febreze and all was well after that. But I thought the housekeeping staff did a remarkable job...bathroom was spotless and they were generous with the towels. Linens were very nice. Room was QUIET! Location rocked. Fair rate. I would absolutely stay there again.

Bait and Switch BE AWARE!

Reserved a non-smoking room at this hotel at 1300 Columbus Ave. After we checked in (and signed the rate card), we were told that no non-smoking rooms were available, so my reservation was useless. We were then told that we had to take our bags one and a half blocks to 495 Beach street and another building also marked Holiday Inn, which is not nearly as nice. All the pictures on Southwest Airlines.com. where we booked this reservation show the 1300 Columbus Ave property with a nice Bistro in the lobby and a cafe that serves Starbucks coffee. Over at 495 Beach Street they have a 24-hour Denny's. Lovely. When I asked for a lower rate, for a lower rate hotel, I was informed that it was the same hotel. Really? The same hotel, but a different address? Crooks.

Fantastic location

What a fantastic location! Out the front door and you are at the Cannery. Out the back door and you are a short block from the Warf. Denny's is handy and the Walgreens is too. Way more affordable than the hotel resteraunt. Beds were not very good. Room was clean and roomy. 1st floor room was noisy with street traffic and service vehicles. Desk staff helpful. 2-3 blocks from Ghiradelli square and the Buena Vista's Irish coffee. 7 blocks from Lombard street and several very close bus stops as well as steet car and cable car stops. Loved everything but the beds.... Price was moderate at $100-$130 an night.

Convenient & Comfortable

The location was very convenient to do lots of walking along the Wharf without having to hunt & pay a lot for parking. Hotel staff were very friendly and accommodated us when our room wasn't ready for check-in. Room was comfortable and spacious. Only down-side was that it was too noisy and could hardly sleep. Not sure if people were standing right outside our hotel door or people next door where our room was connected.

Walking Vacation

You are near 2 trolly car lines and just several blocks from Fishermans Wharf. Great vacation to walk and get around by foot. Price is very reasonable and the staff was very friendly and helpful with sight seeing excursions.

Good Location..Nice hotel

I loved the location of this hotel. Everything was in walking distance. The only problem with the hotel is it's across the street from a bar so it was little noisy one night with the bar people. I would bring some ear plugs to drown out the noise. The staff were very friendly and the rooms were nice. I wish they would have offered a complimentary contienental breakfast. It is so $$$ to eat in San Francisco.

This hotel was really good! The beds were comfortable and it was close to everything! We got a really good deal through priceline! and there is a Dennys right across the street and a Walgreens about a block away! It was also close to everything! I would go back in a heartbeat if I got another good deal!

Great Location!

This hotel was great. The only downside was we had to park at the main hotel but are room was in the other section across the street. Denny's in the hotel is pretty expensive. I wish we would have requested a room with a view of the Wharf. Overall the hotel was a great location and very, very, clean.

Basic accomodations

You cannot beat the location of this hotel. It is close to all the action at Fisherman's Wharf. However, it is not worth the price you pay. My family and I were relegated to the Bay street building where we overlooked a lovely dumpster which was emptied at 5:00am daily. For $369/night you can find much nicer places to stay on the wharf where the wireless internet connections actually work.
