ON SITE POLICE, ENOUGH SAID
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/24/09
NOT ONLY DO THEY HAVE ON SITE POLICE, FYI, ITS A MAJOR VIOLATION OF OUR CONSTITUTION. ‎ - Trista‎ - Today NOT ONLY DO THEY HAVE ON SITE POLICE, FYI, ITS A MAJOR VIOLATION OF OUR CONSTITUTION. Food sucks, the service is so so and they have cops who decide who should drive and who shouldnt. I honestly thought my friend (who barely drinks) said they would not allow her to drive which was crazy as she is pregnant and had a wine, and they did it to me....communisim.... the waitress told me they report who drank what....none of their business

It was an awful night, i was awaken by construction and bugs that were in my bedsheets. I called customer service but they never helped. Techniclly this was a pity staying here, and room service took over 2 hours which is ridiculous. I also got no chocalates under my pillow :( Herd my warning, you will be dissapointed...

AMAZING ! We can't wait to go back !
By Alison, 06/19/08
This hotel was amazing ! It was pretty low-key, and the room was fantastic. It was clean and comfortable, and it had flatscreen televisions and a very nice two-room bathroom. We only stayed there for one night, and didn't have a chance to have dinner there, but the breakfast was very good (order a smoothie !) as was the lunch. The staff were all friendly and helpful, and when we arrived late at night they were more than willing to help us. We can't wait to stay here for longer next time we go to California !

An Oasis with aweful billing policies
By paulm, 11/01/07
Very nice property-an oasis in LA. The problems arose first with the hotel operators. When asked how much a long distance call (within US) was no one knew the answer. I finally got an answer of 1$ but when I checked out a call to NY for 10 minutes was 33$. Other problems arose post check out. It turns out that if you use a debit card the hotel will "authorize" or hold 800 extra dollars above the final bill. This money will remain in their hands for up to 72 hours and then will finally be released back to you. The hotels explanation was that this is in case of extra charges even though I had already checked out. Hotel accounting was NOT helpful in resolving this. A nice stay was thus absolutely ruined by very weak billing policies. I would ask many more questions about billing before staying at a Four Seasons again.
